Es gab mal einen Hellas- Freund, der leider verstorben ist, und dieser hatte auf seiner Internet-Seite den Satz stehen: wenn du in jungen Jahren nach Griechenland fährst, wirst du nicht mehr viel vom Rest der Welt sehen. Und so lieben wir die Griechen als wahre Gastgeber und viele viele liebe Menschen sind uns für ewig in unsere Herzen gehüpft. So haben wir viele Inseln und Bewohner kennengelernt, waren aber oft auch Wiederholungstäter. Dies Jahr macht man es uns schwer, mal sehen, ob es noch klappen wird...

  You have to drive through that olive grove to get to Glysteri, meeting goats & sheep along the way - it used to be wonderful - a gem. You should see it now (2019), it's ruined. Developed, with rows & rows of sunbeds, no goats & sheep, just another spoilt beach.

  The last time I went to Gavdos was in 2011. I don't know whether camping is still possible today. But I think so.

  Hallo in Azogires, einem kleinen Ort nordöstlich von Paleochora, zweigt eine kleine Straße links ab (als ich da war gab es auch ein Hinweisschild). Diese Straße geht in eine Schotterstraße über, den man ohne ab zu zweigen bis zum Ende folgt. Von da an geht ein schmaler Fußweg einen Hang hinauf. Man kann die Höhle von unterwegs nicht sehen, erst wenn man fasst davor steht (sie ist hinter großen Felsen verborgen). Auf Google Earth kann man alles gut erkennen.

  Very nice video. Especially the video from Kastri to Tripiti brings back good memories. I visited the island 3 times; the last time around 1982. The nature stays the same but everything else has changed totally.

  Beautiful video! How long does trail no. 2 takes to get up and back? Is it the same way up as back and easy to manage? Is kalovoulos the top of Alonissos? Thanks

  Hello, thank you. The trail is about 1 km long from the village. It goes up to 325m. The highest mountain lies at the other end of the island in the north. It is the Kouvouli with 425m. Regards
