Great review already tested T350, G430, Paradym Smoke, Qi, and going to test these and Srixon ZX4 and Cleveland Zipcore XL irons. I’m a senior handicap goes between 15-18 as I put a card in every round , good rounds mid eighties or low nineties but average round 95. Swing speed with a 7 iron 70-74 mph. So far all irons very good the Qi was longest by 5 yards and T350 best on descent angle. The other big factor is price ,equipment is so expensive and the depreciation is also high.
Thanks. You’ll find the best value in the Cobra. Keep us posted with what you go for?
Great review! Liked and subscribed.
Thanks mate. 👊🏼🇮🇪
Got these 2 weeks ago 5-Wedge in retro spec with s159 46 bent to 47-52-58 awesome set 🥰 found them to be a decent upgrade over i525s
What do you think of the MMT 105 with these? How do these compare with t200?
Nice combo shaft with those heads for mid flight and slightly lower spin. Tough choice between them and the T200 heads. Very similar, sound off the face very different so test both heads and go with cosmetics and phonetic that suits you best.
I got fit at demo event by mizuno and Taylor made for MMT 105 S with 923 forged and p790 even though I swing at 75-78 mph. What do you think of those shafts? saw that you really like ns pro modus shafts. Also got fitted for titelist wedges with m grind but they said no need to match shaft. Taylor made recommended standard bounce and mizuno recommended d grind in 54 and c grind in 58. Any thoughts on shafts and wedges?
Just got fitted for a set of these (5-P,U) today. Opted for the Dynamic Gold 115 shafts. Soooo good. I highly recommend them!
I'm gaming a set of Ping Eye 2 BeCu's made in 1986 and have recently been investigating what to replace with. Got fitted for P790's, how would these compare? Nice video!
Very similar design with Pings just being a little more forgiving and slightly faster off the face. Little higher trajectory too from the Pings
Just wondering what shaft would suit a links course for a mid flight have a fitting booked and just looking to have a idea of what to try 🤔
TT Dynamic Gold 115 in stiff flex 👌🏻
A really nice and detailed description of this iron, thanks.
Thanks Paul👌🏻
Just added the 35gm shaft in my G425 and gained 15 to 20 metres over my Alta CB SR 55 gm shaft Works for me as an 80 year old plus golfer👍
Looked back to i500 structure and design !
My gamer is Apex 21. What would be the advantage to switch from your experience?
Better distance efficiency and control. Longer distances too if that’s of interest to you. The Apex are great but soft steel. You would see a gain of 2 club lengths if fitted correctly. 👌🏻😉
@@foregolfcustom that is well worth a look for me. 2 club lengths? Wow!
Have these in modus 105 reg, std lofts and I love them, nice high flight, I'm usually low ball hitter but these are great for me described exactly as I saw in fitting and in real life by Derek 👍👍
Derek. I went to ping, I’m 59 dodgy hips and swing speed heading south. I was fitted for modus 105 reg, fitting was on astroturf, nice high flight. Tried same club off grass and flight was much lower. Hitting low spin bullets. Would u suggest retro lofts, you can’t try at ping.
Yes, defo get the lofts adjusted to the weaker settings. You might need to consider graphite shafts.
Ta
I'm 60 and recently was fit into the ping i530s with accra I series graphite shafts...love them
Loads of quality info, and all on point! Thanks 👍
Thanks Ken 🙏🏻
I was a little surprised about the talk of a gap wedge. I've had one in the bag for over 20 years now. And that is because golf has suffered from vanishing loft disease for at least 30 years now. The lob wedge is the problem. One of the most overrated clubs ever. Slow swing casual golfers should shun it. So the best thing about the HM Pro is that you have a low lofted club (22*) with enough head-weight to be built at 38 inches...the one with the number 5 stamped on the bottom. It preserves in some part the 38 of the old 24/38 rule in club building. The design and material of the head preserves somewhat the 24 part by manipulating CG and launch. Add a 46* +/- wedge to function as the PW, 50* GW and a 54* sand wedge with appropriate bounce and your problem is solved. You now still have room for a hybrid or 7ish wood.
Hey ForeGolf Custom, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and repurpose your long videos into highly engaging shorts? I can also make high CTR thumbnails for your channel
Thanks for that. 👍🏻
Have the kbs tour in my set and I personally like the flight, isn't really high
Great review especially the comments regarding shaft selection to complement the head.
Thanks glad you like those nuggets 👌🏻
Finally found a video on the blue rouges. Literslly every reviews is the new rouge ST
It's been proven that rust on a wedge has no influence on spin rate, it's basically to stop glare as the angle from address on the wedges can be distracting
Thanks for watching. Better spin on this head over the last design. 👌🏻
So a lob wedge, 58 or 60 degree. I’ve head you should play slightly flatter than the rest of your irons. Mainly for shorter swings/chips. What do you think ?
Yep can work for some golfers. Depends on the individual but ideally run in sync with your iron settings but a little flatter ok. 👍🏻
Need somewhere like this in England ha ha. I would love a fitter to have the trackman with an outdoor range to see ball flight.
Love the video! You asked for questions Hörer you go :) Quite specific question from Germany Can’t find a fitter anywhere close to give them a wack in my specs. I hit them in a std length x-stiff and loved the feel. I always played blades and still have 2018 mizuno MP 18s in my bag but didn’t really play a heck lot of golf the past 5 years. Starting to get back into it and don’t want to make it too hard on myself. Playing off around 4 right now Played scratch at the age of 14/15. Right now I’m 28 years , 6’8” with 119mph club head speed on my driver with a way too high launch on all my clubs Thinking about ordering: +1,5 inch , +2 Up, Kbs % X-stiff 130g, std lofts, midsize grips + 1 tape (wedges in the bag 50,54,58) What are your thoughts on the specs ?
Nice, succinct review!👍🏻Wish Titleist would list offset numbers on their website like all the other OEMs do!
Interesting, why do you need to know the offset measurements?
Great video, I use these irons and love them. I play graphite and chose the Mitsubishi av blue stiff. Only a $14 up charge while these shafts retail for about $75.00.
Thanks 🙏🏻
Great Explanation guys ! It was through you guys I was able to get fitted and choose this driver (The middle Version) Went with a 10.5 because of the low spin and the Silver Gen 4 stiff shaft ! I’m absolutely loving it ! I’m set for the next decade !
Thanks for the video! I just started playing 1/2 way into last season & am finishing getting my bag together. My boss just gave me his Max in immaculate condition. Really excited to get out there after snowboarding wraps up.
thanks for great video, just got fit last week and Paradym X 10.5 with custom tenses av2 blue 55 reg shaft, it blew everything out of the water , speed increase, distance and consistency were really improved , just have to wait the 3 weeks for it to arrive now, be my first Callaway driver,
Got mine coming in with a Ventus TR 6x. Can’t wait to try it!!
Nice
I'm looking to change shafts from a 105g to below 100... would the 850gh pair well with say, my mizuno jpx 825 pro's?
Yes or go to Nippon 950 as they actually play softer than the 850 if you are in a Reg flex. 👍🏻
Just fitted into the 105 for my JPX 923s.
Thanks for the explanation. Just bought the LTDxMax. Can’t wait to try it out in the field.
Great breakdown of each model!
Qi10 Max should be called - Short and spinny driver that finds fairways
Where’s Dave ?
David finished up with us almost a year ago.
I had a fly z which i loved but the shaft broke.i bought the ls aerojet, couldnt get it above head height and they went straight left bad.im in the process of a refund, trying the standard aerojet or getting my fly z re shafted.what would you recommend.the fly z had the weight at the back and i hit it very well.any recommendations?
First Q: what was the shaft, weight and flex you broke in that Flyz?
@@foregolfcustom it's a 60g s flex
Ideally reshaft the original head with the exact same shaft. If you want a new head get the new DarkSpeed X head with the heavy weight at the back. The LS head is a low spinning low flighted design that’s why you struggled with it. The X will help to launch it and keep things stable. Go for the 10.5 loft and get a similar profile shaft to match your old shaft spec. That should work 👍🏻
@foregolfcustom what about the standard aerojet with the weight at the back.10.5 is my loft on the fly z.i know the ls is definitely not for me but I was going to try the standard one on monday
Hi, thanks for the videos, looks a great club as does the Qi10, a shift to more lightweight irons has helped greatly so thinking this will too. Do you have all these new models in left handed?
No sorry only a few key products in LH but not every loft in every head.
Remember everybody when you change the loft on these Drivers at the hosel you will be opening or closing down the face angle at the same time. These guys never seem to mention this.Example: Going from 10 degree loft to 11 or 12 you will be closing down the face at impact, decreasing the loft as in 10 degrees to 9 or 8 you will be opening the face angle at impact.Remember this and adjust accordingly.
Not quite accurate. The double rings on this design does not adjust the face angle that much like some of the other single tip adjustments.
How can they be best before release of other manufacturers irons?
We’ve already tested all the other irons ahead of release. 😉✅
Interesting, not sure whether to come down and have irons or woods replaced. If it’s irons, I’d be keen to incorporate the wedges at the same time to ensure logical gapping occurs.
Great point. You will defo need a GW in this set and space the wedges accordingly. Ideally 4* between lofts. 👍🏻
I slice quite often.. Which one of these would be the best for me?
Go for the D model set it to D on the hosel too or the model with the sliding weight in the Draw position 👍🏻
Where is the jailbreak - biggest invention after the sliced bread???????
Stop all the hand gestures omg
1st up shared to Adam 🎉 Happy New Year Derek & family & big shout out to The Don 🎉🎉🎉🎉
what would you pair with the taylormade 770 iron ?
Modus 105 or 120 depending on what weight works best for you. Go lighter (105) and softer in flex (Reg) for higher flight/slower speeds or heavier (120) and stiffer flex for faster speeds. Good luck with it. 👍🏻
Just to be clear, if the Paradym has sliding weight at fade setting does that enhance or negate a fade please?
Put the weight in the position you want to create. So if the weight is place towards the toe/fade side the club will open up through impact and the ball flight will be fade biased. Make sense? 👍🏻
Great review very well explained. My dream club currently playing Stealth 2 love them I’m a 15/16 handicapper and a senior. Looking at these the T350 and replacement for Callaway DCB or Rogue ST pro. I want nice feel, distance but don’t want to lose forgiveness. A big ask!
A delicate balance for sure…
Now these have dropped in price I’m going to purchase one,and I always go to you as a guide as you specify a club is for certain speeds and not just handicap, got a friend off 4 but swing’s about 95 mph ,no other reviews take that into account
Thanks Ian. Appreciate the feedback and support 👊🏼🇮🇪
Silly question… how do you actually adjust the weight on the Paradym driver?
If it’s the sliding weight head you can screw it amd slide it into position. In the other heads we can change the small weights in the head at the beginning of the build to alter the CG or swingweight depending on the fitting requirements.
