    Hi Dan can you please review the Meze Alba, evry one prizing for its price but no where i found the audio demo. Can you please do that , 159$ it almost double the price of tin hifi t3 plus, But in india its near to 120$ with a dac, so i want to ensure a long time partner with audio journey.

    The Blue Danube just works so dang well. I can't help but close my eyes and micr-shiver from how well the instruments meld together so warmly and clearly and with such a nice depth. The Hexa's have like, sort of an underlying, "nostalgia" sound to them that's not much, but it's there and enough of it is taking you back. If I were to get these, I couldn't wait to listen to my favorite nostalgic childhood memory song, Rupert Bear Ending Theme. Literally would put me in shambles and destroy me. The tears wouldn't stop. I don't remember anything from that show, but as a 4, 5 year old back in the early 2000's, I would be laying in bed, not in school yet, all cozy and listening to that ending theme because I really liked it 🥰🤧🥺😭*EARLY 2K CANADIAN TELEVISION HIT SOOOOO DIFFERENT, YOU DONT EVEN KNOW* 😭

    Man... listening to orchestra, the blue danube on this is really nice, but it doesn't *meld* the sounds together as well as the Hexa does. When the Hexa melds together, you get a slight *shiver* from how well it sounds, whereas these dioko's, it's more of an emphasis on each singular instrument I feel like. That's one of the big caveats i got from listening to the blue danube on the Dioko's... It's SUCH a shame because it's so clear and detailed, but lacks that sort of 'asmr' type of warmth that you get when sounds resonate off each other. Man... The T3+ are pretty close to the Hexa's, but I still prefer the Hexa's for the Blue Danube. The T3+ have that slightly 'fun' feeling you get when listening, and I think maybe a bit more bass? (I'm not an audiophile, but I'm trying to explain what I hear). Hexa's got that solid Neutral/Natural sound, I think. It's sort of like a woman singing the same note and pitch as a male, but because they have a higher natural voice, that note sounds more pleasant. That's sort of how'd I'd describe what 'fun' sounds like on the T3+, but not to such an immediately noticeable degree (It's a rough analogy), at least not to me.

  • @Divionist
    @DivionistКүн бұрын

    These sound somewhat similar to the Hexa's, but this sounds a bit more fun whereas the Hexa's are more Neutral sounding. Some ppl might prefer this over the Hexa because I can see how the Hexa's may sound a bit boring despite having better clarity and roominess (im not an audiophile so idk the terms). This isn't falling too short behind it though. edit: The female vocals feel like they're slightly 'higher' physically. Like they're slightly above ear level, whereas, the Hexa's female vocals feel _at_ ear level. *reference: Track 5 Female vocals, **18:16** onwards* A way to describe it is if a guy hits the same note and pitch as a woman, but because he has that guy voice, you know it's a guy comparatively to when a girl hits that note and pitch, you know it's a girl singing. It's not to such an extent, but you get the idea of what I mean. That's sort of what I'm hearing when comparing this to the Hexa's. I guess that's the Neutral tone of the Hexa's that people are talking about. The T3+ also have a bit more noticeable bass compared to the Hexa's... idk my bass terms too, I think it's that sub-bass? That rumbly feeling, this has more than the Hexa's. Noticeably in Track 14 Classical orchestra, 1:03:33 the Cello (I think that's what's making that sound), compared to the Hexa sound demo. The T3+ might have a bit of a harshness (I think that's the right term 🧐 ) in the treble area *reference: 1:05:01 Track 14 Classical orchestra, compared to the Hexa's, the violin (OR IS IT A VIOLA), is a bit more emphasized, whereas the same part is smoother on the Hexa's. Also, going back to my first *edited* point, because the sound level feels like it's above your ears, the Hexa's that are at ear level sound 'fuller' if that's the word. I think it's called soundstage? There's like a perception of more roominess or something. The Hexa's feel nicer in this regard. Overall, the T3+, imo feel a bit more pronounced than the Hexa's in bass, slightly in the midrange, and a bit in the treble, resulting in a more (bright?) brighter or funner (that's a word don't @me ! 😡 ) type of listening compared to the Truthear Hexa's... At least, that's what I got from these sound demo's 😄 Idk which I would prefer honestly. Also, I'm not an audiophile so Idk how well my analysis is as I'm currently planning on buying either the Hexa, T3+, Artti T10, or Dioko (my ears might _bleed_ on this one according to people). I've only had 1 iem before and it was the Zero Red which I returned because it didn't have enough of what the Hexa, T3+, and Dioko has. I do miss the Rumbly Bass though.

    Very insightful review. I appreciate this style of review, with each reviewer one gains something relevant. I could certainly hear the tonal differences in this demo. But I would also say, the better one's listening device is, the easier it will be to hear the differences in these IEMs. I am glad I discovered your channel. Hope you have a lot of other reviews, of the IEM's and headphones that I am interested in learning about. And I find the opinions expressed in this video are authentic, and I agree with them. There definitely is something about the sound of the more MEST MK II. But it is definitely NOT in my budget. I have to be satisfied with what I can afford.

    Amazing format by the way. I understand that I am not hearing exactly what these units sound like through my MBP and 560s. But even to understand the relative differences is absolutely golden. Because I can listen to (for instance) the Hexa's, which I have and if they sound basically the same as your video Hexa recording through my 560s, then that's a baseline. I wish all reviewers did this. It makes all of the blah blah blah about their impressions of the sound actually worth listening to because I can now hear it too and judge the nuances along side them. Brilliant!

    Do you know if you have the OG (pre-revision) copy that was either kickstarter or "reviewer samples" or if this is the production one that is shown to be fairly heavily modified how Shortbus exposed? It at least APPEARS that your copy is the later version because all of the OG owners complain about the shrill treble around 8k, where that is specifically what is "missing" in these recordings and it is the reason I want them. They're SO warm. So I'm really hoping yours is the not-OG. But the timing of your review suggests otherwise. Here is a video discussing the difference with two copies. One bought in 8/23 the other 12/23. kzread.info/dash/bejne/aY5lstOSoNG4YrA.html

    I compared this with the Truthear Hexa's and to me, the Hexa's feel like Bob Ross, the Dioko's feel more forward and like it wants your attention constantly. The Hexa's sound clear, much smoother, warm, neutral, balanced, mellow, with a tad bit noticeable treble. Its sound signature is very nice and easy to listen to for long periods as it doesn't grate your ears too much or pump it with too much bass. - I have a Final ZE3000 TWS and I love that thing. The Hexa's sound signature is similar to it and it being an iem, it's most likely better than my ze3000's when it's maxing out aptx adaptive at 24 bit, 48kHz. The Dioko's sound clearer and with a bit more enhanced detail than the Hexa's, but comparing the two, the Dioko's treble is kind of 'sharp' and loud, the female vocals are also more prominent and clearer, but sound a bit like they're 'pushed back', but also up close to you; like your head level is at their throat. It's basically like having a live concert solely for you. Like, you're right up front, which sounds great for a bit but gets a bit excessive after a bit. Sort of like in your face. - Hexa's are softer, Dioko's are sharper - Hexa's are neutral warm, Dioko's are clarity clear - Hexa's are smoother, Dioko's are upbeat - Hexa's are perfect for everyday stuff/chilling/pretty much anything (versatile), Dioko's are more forward and require your attention when being used. They might be a bit taxing to listen to for day to day things. - *Hexa's is you cozying up in a blanket in the middle of Autumn, Dioko's is you in your fall clothes outside the Autumn breeze* Both are great. I love the Dioko's clarity and thought I'd like it more, but after a while listening to this demo, I found myself longing for the warmth of the Hexa's. Plus, I'm a bit biased because it's similar to my ze3000's. They're both clear, natural, balanced, but If I could, I'd get the Dioko's for situational/short listening moments. Otherwise, I like the Hexa's more a lot more as it's easy-listening. *This review is based only from this channel's Sound Demo* - I'm not an audiophile. I've listened to the sound demo for those two for a lil over an hour (total, for them both. I skipped some genres I didn't listen to) with breaks. I'm using Crinacle Zero: Red's with the impedance adapter, on my apple usb-c dac on windows (24 bit, 48kHz). Using the impedance adapter because my current memory foam eartips block a bit of the bass compared to my older ones that don't fit on one of my ear.

    I'm eating up everything I can find on the Hexa after purchasing a set (hasn't arrived yet) and so far it's looking VERY promising for me (as a bright - v-shaped neutral fan). In this demo alone you could hear the separation between that background electronic bassy droning sound and the vocals, that background bass was WAY more detailed and perceivable than on any of the other sets even if the vocals seemed toned down compared to the rest (especially the tin hifi, that one is much brighter in tuning). So excited.

    S12P sounds more open, I can tell it has more treble extension than the Timeless. Those cymbals sound are so crisp. Overall S12P is a very technical IEM for the price, I really love it. Your EQ does sound smoother, I’ll give it a try since S12P can have a bit of sibilance on certain songs. Thanks!
