Hey Dan, I recently lost my Zero 1s :( and wanted to ask for a recommendation for a replacement. I actually bought the Zero 2s and found that they didn't do the same for me for vocals as the 1s, so now a bit stuck. Should I go ahead and get the 1s again? I kind of miss that magical sound the 1s had with vocals. Thanks!

Hey Dan. I LOVE your analysis of these iems. Also love the change up in your demo tracks. Keep up the great work!!!
Seems like the KSC75 vs KPH30i arguement all over again. Both great options, with passionate opinions on both sides.
Loved that you changed the playlist, and this one is great too! 👏
Dan, not sure you remember me still, I’ve been out of the hobby for a while. However, I’m back now and I have been binge watching your review series from the last 8 months or so. It’s such a treat, man. Your impressions are perfectly laid out. I, wholeheartedly, agree with your take on how our tastes change depending on the mood we’re in. Also, you have quite an open mind and you’re not pretentious, which is very refreshing, that’s also something I try to bring to the table in the hobby, whenever I can. Cheers, buddy. Keep up the amazing work. I’m thrilled to be back.
Great video Dan.
Have the OG Zero, 2 and HBB. Agree with your take on all. But I have no regrets buying the 2, I like it.
Hey Dan, just wanted to thank you for recommending the Fudu. Got it today and cand put it down. Probably end game for me for some time now, fun engaging punchy bass, almost like cinema type of sound. Sweet mids and vocals, Amazing set. You have become my reference reviewer sir.

Dan , so far of yours this is the video that I love ❤️ the most , btw, merry x'mas 🎄🎁🦌 and happy new year 🎊 2024.
Dan looking like MJ with the white glove 😂 🕺
damn watched the video and hearing the tune test on the zero 2...the hbb part made me realize i have 0 regrets. would buy more lol
thanks man
I don't own any of them, but from your tests I like the Zero2 best of all. HBB has vocals that are muddy. OG Zero is a little too sizzly... Zero2 hits my sensibilities best. To me vocals are the ultimate test of an IEM... but I realize many don't care that much about natural sounding vocals. Listening with Olina SE. Will listen with P5 later tonight.
i own and love the zero1 and the zero2, after watching your videos i bought the QKZ HBB, and i absolutely love it. i love both the zero2 and the HBB but i notice that the HBB has way more detail in the mids and lows, there are entire instruments that i dont hear on the zero2's that the HBB presents in a very pleasing way. its fun to go back and forth and discover new stuff on the HBB, both are incredible but the zero2 just feels like its lacking overall detail when you switch between different sets.
Is there any difference in quality when you change cables or foams ? Thank you.
Would you do a sound demo for the KZ Castor silver/harman? Just got these set a while ago and I was skeptical at first (since it's KZ) but they're quite great for the price.
Zero 2 has a new driver, but I don't notice much improvement other than the bass is bassier. I genuinely don't know what driver IEM uses and what the specs are but since I already have QKZ HBB and Zero 1, just use both for specialized IEM best for certain music and I don't see Zero:2 can compete for being the middle man if people already own both.
What are your thoughts on the Fatfreq Maestro mini and the Fatfreq Scarlett mini?
Hi, do you plan to review Thie Audio Hype 4, Oriveti OD200, Final A5000 or Truthear Nova in coming days/weeks ?
Do you have plan to review qkz hades? Waiting for your suggestion for this❤
would love to see a review for the Moondrop Aria V2
I was thinking about getting the QKZxHBB just as a basshead option, but it sounds more like a warm signature than a dry hit like the Zero, which I personally like better.

Hi, bro! Will you do demo of NiceHCK F1 Pro? Good planars for price!
Now the Kahn is just glorious. It loses a tad bit of thickness that the QKZ HBB has, but gains mid details and has 99 percent of the Zero's higher crystalization. The Zero 2 is just muted everywhere. The Kahn somehow has more Slam than the QKZ HBB. Much more satisfying.

Hi dan, can you review or provide a sound demo for Tin HIFI C0? Because this IEM is really close to the IEF Neutral 2023 Target, and it has the Airy sounding, best IEM under $20 in my opinion. *The stock eartips & cable is garbage.
Hey Dan, Ive listened to most of your demos. Each IEM on a different browser tab. That way it is easy to A/B with the same track. So far I didnt hear anything that surpasses Timeless in separation and detail except for the very expensive ones. The ones in the price range of Timeless doesnt beat it still. Am I right?
Hello Dan I will try to ask here, do you like the nannas? 😊
The Khan is my all time favorite but I think the Zero2 sounds interesting. The original Zero just sounds too thin/ anemic for my tastes. Great review Dan, keep up the good work!
I really wanna try a clear bright iem
At first i thought u trying implemented the late white jackson style with that 1 side white glove
yeah, I feel like the brightness and the amount of that airy tone was what made the original zero stand out. now that it's gone and traded for the slightly stronger lower register, that magic is gone for me. it's still a great iem though, I just feel like if you're gonna upgrade from the original zero there are other products that can execute this task better

The HBB's are such a pleasant set. The Zero 2 is like halfway there. Not a fair comparison with warmth as the focus. I think detail wise the Zero 2 is a step back from the original Zero. But the Zero is just a tad too sterile. But the Zero 2 is less sterile but somehow less detailed and then lacking the warmth that the HBB has? Yeah... hmmm!
In search of the perfect budget IEM , I bought the OG Zero , the Zero 2 , the Moondrop Chu2 , and the KBear KS2 . I wound up keeping the Zero 2's - the Chu2's were 2nd place, sounding a bit like the mighty HBB Khan's but not quite getting there ( at all lol ) imo .
I’m still waiting for my Zero 2 to arrive. I listened to the OG Zero one but since I’m a basshead kinda guy I bought the QKZxHBB instead. Can’t wait to compare it to Zero 2 whenever its gonna arrive.

@@blackreaper7908 finally got to do the A & B test. I found that the Zero2 fits more shallow in my ear canal compared to the QKZ. It also have smaller shell so it doesnt stick out much from my ear. Sound wise I prefer the Zero2 since it sounded more correct to my ear. But bass dept QKZ still win hands down. (i used the same cable(not the stock ones) for the test, and need to crank more vol for Zero2 since it does have higher impedance compared to QKZ. As for comparison to the Zero1 sound wise it solved the shoutiness by shoving more bass if that makes senses 🤣 The details is still there but a bit toned down.

I think the Zero 2 takes the place of the HBB QKZ, having listened to both. Zero 2 has much more detail and resolution than the Qkz but not as much as the OG Zero, which wins on overall clarity. I am keeping both Zeros and returning the Qkz.

I finally got the Zeros and have had some time with them. They are a great set that leans bright. In my personal opinion I prefer the Zero 2's. They have a much fuller sound with better base while still sounding clear in the treble region. The Zero has very slightly better treble and is also slightly more airy. Both are excellent for the price paid. I would ultimately say if you prefer a more treble focused sound then go with the Zero. If however you prefer a fuller sound then go with the Zero 2's. Hope this helps!
I fumbled and got the Zero 2 cuz the orange metal plate looked so good lol
actuality nothing beats a ns3 in musicality and engagment, which is what music is for :) otherwise the qoa gimlet and hiby beans are respectively for more Details and "Audiophile"/hifi experiences.. for a contrast.
Unfortunately im listening to this with open ear headphones 😢 Theyre okay. Soundpeats GoFree 2. They're okay. Testing out this Open Ear thing. Definitely not a bass head thing with this particular pair. But being able to hear everything around tou clearly and un- artificially is a big plus. Will test the Soundcore versions next. Little pricier but have heard good things about their bass response.

hey dan iam really intererested with moondrop may, do you think it was good? or should i just grab a fudu or ea500
Dude we need NOVA
It's strange that, despite being a bit older and having some hearing loss (since childhood), I am very treble sensitive. That said, the OG Zero sounds pretty mediocre to me... the best way I can describe is that it sounds like it's interlaced... like every other frequency is missing. So overall it sounds ok, but is like a 22Khz recording. Anyway, the Zero2 is much better and far less grating. Even in these examples I hear the same difference as I do with my IEMs (listening via my Focals). I mostly listen to rock/metal, so grating highs is something I can't stand. The Zeros are getting completely replaced with the 2's.
