Sifu Sean Mann

Sifu Sean Mann

The Mann Family School of Kung Fu is a Traditional and Certified Ip Man Wing Chun Kung Fu School.

Our multiple lineages go directly back to the source, starting from Great Grandmaster Ip Man to his son Grandmaster Ip Chun, then Ip Chun to Masters Michael Tse & Colin Ward before going to Sifu Sean Mann and his students, this is both for the Ip Chun lineages to Sifu level and follows mostly the Chan Wa Shun method.

On top of this we also have certification in the Lueng Bik and Wong Shuen Lueng lineages through Sifu Sean Manns current Master, Goksel Erdogan, this style mostly following the Lueng Bik method.

Our KZread channel is here to support our school, and help preserve this very special skill, we hope it helps you benefit and thank you for subscribing to our channel.

Why not also subscribe to our other channel, Wing Chun Chi Sau tube!!!! Where for free you can watch video tutorial on many different Chi Sau techniques from the Wing Chun system!!!!

    No I don’t personally as my own journeys requirement ended up in a different place so I stopped looking so far back, but you should look at people who train pre 1800s wing chun for this information, if wanting more to do with post Leung Jan period better understanding of Chan Wah Shun and Leung Biks methods that influenced Ip Man, then the Weng Chun system from the Chi Sim lineage is best, good luck in your journey buddy, hope you find what your looking for🙏🏻

    I want to say its all a load of bull as a kickboxer/Muay Thai practitioner and that reality tells a different story in the cage. But one understands the other part of personal development. But I still prefer hardcore martial arts like Muay thai.

  • @SifuSeanMann

    I here that, I respect your opinion to johno for sure, we all have our reasons for choosing what we do a. Is funny though as I did do competition and boxed in the army etc and I love wing chun, I can see why it’s not enough for others though. I’ve got no intentions of getting in a cage but I know I can look after myself in the street, it’s a different thing though, to fight professionally you have to be an athlete for one. I really respect your comment, it’s from the heart and well said, thank you for taking the time💯🙏🏻

  • @SifuSeanMann
    @SifuSeanMann9 ай бұрын

    We’ll go train that then 😂👊🏻 I’ve trained in Muay Thai, I boxed in the army for 2 years as well as been in the empty hand combat team and from 8 till I was 16 did Chi Na with my dad who was also a Sifu. For me personally wing chun gives the most to my development as person, this is because it’s not just about punches and kicks, it’s principles and philosophy helps with everything in life and that’s important seem as we spend less than 1% of our life actually fighting. You must do what you feel is best for you buddy, have your own opinion and do your own thing in life, just as I do. Thanks for your comment.

  • @chrisrogers9396

    The best style for real life is not having to fight at all. Nobody wins if someone's in the hospital and the others in jail. Most fights can be avoided if you can read body language and intent. An ego is the heaviest thing to carry, once you let it go, life gets much easier.
