Direct Ip Man Student Roland Tong U.K. Seminar on Wing Chun Kung Fu.
Today we had the honour of welcoming Master Roland Tong, one of the final surviving direct students to Great Grandmaster Ip Man himself, to visit our school in Grimsby North East Lincolnshire U.K. from Hong Kong.
It was an absolute honour for our school and students alike, nothing this big has ever happened in Grimsby or Lincolnshire on a whole for any Wing Chun school and we are absolutely humbled to say the least.
Today we was able to train skills directly passed from Ip Man to Master Tong, including Chi Sau Techniques, advice on forms and much more!
We was able to ask questions about Ip Man, Leung Bik, and the skills he teach directly not just word of mouth, this is very important for the purity of what is passed on and the genuine nature of what our school offers people in our area from China and Ip Man directly.
The whole experience is valued by all, I would like to personally thank Sifu Rob Ley, Master Tongs most senior student as well for passing on and helping to deliver valuable knowledge so we can continue to offer genuine skills, not just now but long in to the future as well.
Well done to everyone that attended for representing the school so well, also my own children Amelia Jessica Mann, Henry John Mann and Theodore Huynh Mann, great job, brilliant day, well done everyone.
