Ahhhhhh, what a wonderful experience! We saw wild horses when we stayed a couple of nights in Cumberland Island! I'll never forget waking up and seeing wild horses run across the backyard of the house! We stayed in a house owned by one of my dad's friends. What a memorable trip❤. Love the views from the observation point, just beautiful ❤.
We have eaten at Abbey Road but not the two others. There are so many great places to eat in VA Beach!
We will return to capitalism in our next video LOL!! How they built those underwater bridges amazes me! What a beautiful beach area! Seeing the horses is so cool! I'm going to tell Emily that we need to check this place out!

How did I miss this one? Im terrified of any water in FL, except their beaches. I'd love to see manatees. Ginger os threatening to make us go to a spring. I don't want to be anywhere near gators, but still interesting to see, along with all the other wildlife. I couldn't bring myself to swim there, even though it seems relatively safe. The house tour looks really cool. Sorry you missed the gift shop, but glad you enjoyed your day!

This was such an awesome video! I absolutely have to check out Repeal. Ginger will drive up there this weekend when I show her those crab balls and that burger menu. I would really have struggled choosing between the Bomb Mi and the PB&J burger that Jack got. They both look amazing. The crab cake burger at Shuckers also looked really good. I consumed an edible prior to watching this. The music where you were showing us the menu at shuckers was perfect for that, so big thanks!! I replayed it a few times. Now I have the munchies. The Beatles restaurant looked like a fun experience, especially for a Beatles fan. The food looked good, but not as enticing as the other places, which imo, were shown in the order I would rank them from what I gather from the video. The pro wrestling catchphrases were also entertaining. Thanks for another all-around fantastic video!

Very interesting video! Fascinating place with such a history behind it. As a native North Carolinian, I knew 2 things about Edenton; the name and approximate location. I enjoyed learning about courthouse, lighthouse, jail, Penelope Barker, and the Edenton Tea Party. This looks like a fun, relaxing town to visit. I'm glad everyone enjoyed the food from the restaurant. The burgers looked pretty good. Penelope Barker's house must've been quite an experience. I'm glad you enjoyed your trip! Hopefully they will get the jail tours up and going soon.

Love the Historic house of Penelope. Interesting history facts about the Edenton Tea Party. Cupola House, is very pretty. Most unusual light house. Great County Gaol.24 inch thick walls That would keep the prisoners in. Beautiful Court House and still functioning. Good on you Harriott fot escaping enslavement. Great overview of both destinations... I want fancier hotels/resorts... and based on everything else you noted, I'm thinking maybe Virginia Beach for us... and we are going to consider these spots soon.. we are looking to expand our vacation destination menu... I do like the sounds of some of the history sites in the OBX though... thanks guys!

Oooh fancy... King Suite... :) We have not yet been to a Great Wolf Lodge but I know our son would love it... we have one near us in Niagara Falls, Canada... we love arcades... and that one looked pretty good... oh gosh.. ha ha... Luca love mining sluice fun everywhere we go! The waterpark looks really fun! Loose Moose seemed to offer lots of breakfast options... oh, didn't expect that price though... looks more like free breakfast you get at most hotels... pizza didn't look too bad... wow... expensive drink... I wish MY kid liked that kind of food.. ha ha... we just got back from Prince Edward Island...lobster rolls every evening... smh... great overview, Alice! We are going to have to just bite the bullet so our son can enjoy the waterpark..

This island looks amazing... I would absolutely love to see a colony of wild ponies! Wow! And look at the beautiful landscape, herons (I think), etc... oh, I wouldn't want to see any snakes though... ha ha... a pony swim? Wow... I hope it truly is about keeping a safe population... sounds like a remarkable event none-the-less... thanks Alice and Jack!

Too bad you missed the wild ponies on Assateague Island.
Thankfully, on our drive back home, we stopped and spent about half a day on Assateague Island and ended up seeing numerous wild ponies. They were awesome to see in person. We put out a video about that experience a week or two ago. Thanks so much for watching - and for taking the time to leave a comment!
Virgina Beach looks so beautiful. I would love to visit someday! Love that you went to new restaurants. That mango margarita looks so good! Those look like good potato skins. Lots of cool Beatles stuff! Mmm that brownie. Too bad the food wasn't amazing though. Sometimes places are just "okay"! A crab cake sandwich is new to me, I would need to try that and glad Jack loved the sandwich! Glad to hear those were the best sweet potato fries you ever had!! Very nice they honour the armed forces in the restaurant. The crab balls look good! They are a good size. Glad they weren't try and that they were delicious! Those burgers look great!! Great historic part of North Carolina. Such beautiful historic houses. Love all the vintage items and decor. The views from the top of the lighthouse were very nice. Also, the food looked very good. Your video perfectly captures the charm and character of this historic town. Nice information and videography.
Virginia Beach is high on our list. The Beatles is such an iconic band. You guys find the coolest places to eat. Do you get recommendations? Yelp? or just randomly go in? Can’t go wrong with Steamed Shrimp. Pie in a cup sounds amazing. Now I’m so hungry.
Hey Alice and Jack. So glad I got to be one of the 1st views on your video, lol. Like #2 ;) Lovely review of these 3 restaurants. I love themed restaurants, even though I am not a Beatles fan, I would still eat there bc I love British food lol. The other 2 restaurants sounded good as well, the burgers, sounded so yum, since it was the only entrée on the menu I'm sure they do it right, oh and that Mango Margherita sounded so yum, I love mango. I've never been to North Corolina but our son has vacationed there twice. He insists it's the most beautiful place he's ever seen. Hearing the history behind different areas of the country is always fun but knowing Jack's family is from there makes it even more special when you visit.

I live in Swansboro NC.
We saw one of these laughing ladies in San Francisco, she moved while she laughed, interesting that people use to pay to watch and listen to her. Ripleys are fun, but we have only been to one in Jackson Hole. Good luck with getting your pictures 😂! The Haunted house looked like a good time! So many treats! Super cool Boardwalk, tons to do!

I brought my daughter and a friend there a few weeks ago for her birthday. I got the all day dining for myself. I gained 4lbs despite all of the walking.

I've never even heard of Edenton but what a beautiful place! I love the history and the beautiful surroundings. The house that is the welcome center is stunning....and I love Penelope Barker, good on her!! I love the lighthouse furniture and those views. Nice that the courthouse is still in use. What a lovely place, thank you for introducing it to us!
