Does It come in Spanish as well? I have a s1000rr, I don't know if there IS a versión suitable for my bike.
Does the Shkalacar R1200GS Phone Holder Take a galaxy s22 ultra from a size perspective
BMW should have added the ability to use your key to open the gas cap in the event of a failure.
Thanks for the information. I was stuck and it really helped.
Navigation is terrible! Picked up bike from dealer, set the Nav to no toll roads, and it immediately puts me on a toll road! I bail before the entrance, it "re-routes" me via 2 u-turns and wants me to get on the toll road! No matter what I did, it always wanted me back on the damn toll road. I can trust Google better than that!....I sure hope the real Nav system works better since I ordered it.
I rode the Pyrenees on a Norton Commando back in 1980. On the ferry - Weymouth to Cherbourg before the ride down - mine was the only bike.
Nice video👍 you could of mentioned the spacer in the front wheel for people that were removing the wheel to have tyres fitted so it was not lost and I was always taught to suspend the callipers with a zip tie so not to put strain on the lines, I know you only had the wheel out for video purposes but again if your changing tyres they could be hanging for some time
Did not know this existed until finding your video. Just got one ordered through their website, Thanks!
Great vid buddy was good to share the serenity and roads with you 👍🏻👍🏻
Spectacular, what a trip!
Enjoyed that Billy. Cracking vid! 👌🏍️🎥
Nice one Billy it was great to share it with you❤
Hi buddy what are the heated grips you have on the T7
I'm wondering how important the hardware is in all of this. I do have a code/diagnostic app on my iphone for my BMW car. And a independent hardware dongle to connect to about the same port as shown here. The dongle just provides the wifi and of course the read/write capability. But the magic is all done by the software. I don't doubt that here the manufacturer takes care that you really have to buy the whole set, but does anybody know if this is all necessary?
Sorry wrong time of the year for many riders its too 💧🌧 cold & wet , late June, July August far better for most people ps.. I do like your video blogs with the great views
Your lines need work.
Didn't work well on my R18B
Oh no really. What was the problem?
Nice video! If you add the sport screen can you go back to the standard screen without connecting the gs911?
Yes you can
@@BillysBikeAdventures Thank you, do you change screen on TFT?
I don’t have a laptop only and apple phone and apple iPad so how could I update the software?
Hey there. Thanks for watching and your question. The software update has to be done at a Motorrad dealer. Ask for that at your next service or see if they can do it as a stand alone request. Once that is done, the GS911 is the interface to access the functionality of that software. You don't need a laptop or computer. You can use a tablet or smart phone. Same info will be displayed as a laptop just on a smaller screen. You will need the GS911 app to do that. Hope that makes sense. let me know if you still have questions. Cheers. Billy
What a start: spanish border control "bonjour and merci" 🙂
I know 😂😂😂😂😂
I was wondering about that. Not sure about the pronunciation of Jaca either.
I was informed by someone who had been corrected on the Jaca pronunciation so just going off what they had been told 🤞 I am pretty sure it's correct epsnwhen you think of names that begin with J in Spain like Jesus pronounced Heysus
Thank you very much , I was just looking for the plag for my Chigee. Bye from Italy. Max
Ah great to hear it was helpful. Thanks for watching. Cheers. Billy
My R1250RS has the sport screen which is selectable by means of the TFT menu options. No need for a GS-911 to do this. Do you mean that with the GS-911 you can code the TFT so that the sport screen comes up as the default instead of the bar graph type rev counter screen when you switch on?
Spot on, yes. But older bikes like my 2018, will require that software update to access that 'sports' display that is an option is settings without the GS911. Cheers. Billy
Not sure why its called a 'Display Upgrade' rather than 'Display Option'. Still, thanks for the display but not for me.
Hey mate. Thanks for watching. Just a play on words. Cheers. Billy
Can u tell us which software virsion u are running on your bike?
How did you keep the battery voltage above 12.5V when programming? I could see on the screen it was only 12.2V when you were describing the process…
Hi there. Well spotted. I have a Optimate charger plugged in to the bike so helps when doing things like that. Cheers. Billy
Been around for a while now but like all hex stuff not cheap and doesn't fix any faults!
True, so probably not the tool for you.
Fault code was dash not.sending message to ecu. You need a tender to put 14v to do any programming safely. Clear the code you should be good.
Can I use this in a 2016 GSA? Is it possible to activate hillholder?
Hey there thanks for watching and your question. Click on the link below and enter your bike VIN, this will tell you which GS911 is the right one for your bike if Hex have one for that model. Ensure the latest software update to your bike so that the tool can access as much as your model software allows. www.hexgs911.com/vin-decoder/ref/BillysBikeAdventures/ Cheers. Billy
I just tried the link but not working. Try this one www.hexgs911.com/vin-decoder/
You talked about software updates at the dealers I was told they bmw only allow updates now if there is a problem with your particular bike? Not on demand.
I am not sure that is accurate. I asked my dealer and no problem. May be a dealership thing but you are entitled to ask for it. If not doing it for you, poor service. Cheers. Billy
Would it work for 1 R1150GS
Hey there thanks for watching and your question. Click on the link below and enter your bike VIN, this will tell you which GS911 is the right one for your bike if Hex have one for that model www.hexgs911.com/vin-decoder/ref/BillysBikeAdventures/ Good luck. Cheers. Billy
@@BillysBikeAdventures many thanks Billy… will surely do now.

@@BillysBikeAdventures I tried it myself and it didn’t work, so I was trying to find my way round. Many thanks once again. With this, u have just made me committed to the channel.
Mate thanks for that gave me a very clear and concise insight in how to use the 911. Mines coming tomorrow, great vid 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for watching mate. It will prove useful I am sure. A great piece of tech.
It’s the total nuts Even on my 2015 gsa
Great to hear that you have and continue to enjoy your the GS911. Thanks for watching. Cheers. Billy
Thank you for the review! I am considering the Commander 2 and this was a great insight to what it's about even though they are a little bit different. The hole for the cables was a good idea but if not all or at least most intercom does not work it's a bit of a hit and miss. I would like to try it before purchase but it seems like a really good helmet. Definately cheaper than my Shoei. Hope that doesn't reflect too much on the feeling of the helmet.
Its a comfortable, good helmet. I have moved on to the LS2 Explorer since which I really like as well and am using that more than the Airoh. Good luck with which ever you purchase. Cheers. Billy
Just bought a cheap waterproof phone to function for navigation only.
Good idea. Apps are becoming better but still need some work. But a great option
When you reach the end side, do you need to ride back again or is there other way to go back to motorways?
Probably best as it's a long way round otherwise. Enjoy when you get there 👍
No keyless for me thanks anyway :-) Good old keys nothing wrong with.
I tend to agree. More trouble than they are worth sometimes
That's were we stayed too.
Not a bad place to stop off 👍
I'm no meteorologist, but I'm a pilot and we learn about these types of clouds. It's called upslope fog and it occurs when sloping terrain lifts lifts air, cooling it to it's dew point and saturation.
Thanks for the explanation. It was quite spectacular 👍
I think the road you wanted to go up @18:30 is the BU-570. We took it on our Bad Monkey Touring Pyrenees-Picos Tour 2019. It was awesome!
It's on the plan for the next one 🙌
When is Richy going to start posting videos?
If he does do a video of the Piccos June trip it should not be long. Now that I am back from Italy I will finish off the last 3 episodes of Picos and then get working on my Italy trip
BMW sells a crane that can be mounted to the rear of the bike.
I must get one lol
Hi, great vid, not sure if this has been asked but can you hear turn by turn instruction over helmet speakers, I have the Sena SRL3. TIA.
for an english person to pronounce pen-y-pass properly . instead of calling it penny pass , say penn-er pass and say it quickly ,and there . now it sounds right . and you wont look like a complete tourist lol there are no penny anywhere near this name . but i can understand why you would call it penny .
Thanks and apologies as it is important to get it right so I appreciate the lesson. Cheers Billy
Well done sir.
Thank you !
Billy, lovely. On my list now. ATVB
Thanks for watching. Now that i am back from Italy i am working on the next few episodes. Cheers Billy
I beginning to think you like it there …
I LOVED IT :-)
I have a XR with keyless ride. I hate it. Always worrying I've left my pocket open. 35 years riding witb a key and never once have I thought I need keyless. Keyless ride is a solution to a problem that never existed
Great video Billy, thanks for sharing such awesome trip! 👍👍
Thanks mate and for watching. Now that I am back from Italy, I am working on the remaining episodes. Cheers Billy
you forgot to mention :( what about wind noise?
Hey mate. Noise is a hard one for me to talk about as i wear ear plugs regardless so always quiet. Sorry. Thanks for watching. Billy
Should have called this video “ohhh ahh wow omg” 😅 this is what I sounded like my first time there. Picos certainly is a very special place indeed. Great video :)
Ha ha thanks mate. I know what you mean. Can't help myself. Thanks for watching and your comments. Cheers. Billy
Loved reliving every moment, thanks mate 👍
Cheers mate. The next will be more than a week away as I leave for the Italian alps tomorrow morning for a week. :-)
Great video Billy 👏🏻👏🏻🏍️💨😎 I love Riding in Spain 🇪🇸
Thanks mate. My first time there and loved it. More to come but over a week away as heading to Italian Alps tomorrow morning for a week of off road riding :-)
