  I really don’t understand that if she has to pay semester fees then what’s the difference between tuition fee and semester fee? If PhD is fully funded then what is covered in that fully funded PhD? Also, can you give an idea how much amount does a student have to apply to OSU since I can’t find the exact information on website?

  You can apply for Fulbright without any fees. However you will need to pay for your GRE. Only short-listed candidates are asked to take TOEFL at a later stage.

  Hello. If you have a STEM degree, you can apply for OPT (Optional Practical Training) and stay there for 3 years (OPT can be extended for another two years after the first year) In this time period, you can take up an odd job if you want and continue to look for a permanent employment. If you have a non-STEM degree you can apply for OPT and stay there for one year to find a job.

  You should take GRE General if required by the university. Some universities now require GRE while others don't. For Fulbright scholarship, GRE General is mandatory.

  If GRE is optional and you take it, it would be considered by the Program and may add value to your application. However, a low score may also hurt you - so make a decision after you know your score.

  How is GRE different than GMAT?

  GRE is accepted in a number of different programs ranging from Engineering to Business to Social Sciences etc. GMAT is only accepted for admission in business schools. However, more and more business schools are now accepting GRE. GRE is also required for applying to the Fulbright Scholarship.
