  Danke für das sehr tolle Video. Ich persönlich habe nichts gegen langatmigere Videos, insbesondere wenn es im Video darum geht Produkte ausgiebig zu testen und ein Review zu machen, da wäre mir ein kurzes Video eher ungenügend und nicht mal wert anzuschauen. Habe mir sogar dieses Gerät bei Ebay ersteigert, weil es mich überzeugt hatte, da ich auf der Suche nach einem Gerät bin, das gute Aufnahmen machen kann und das Justierungssystem scheint ziemlich cool zu sein. :)

  Biggest problem is when the radio was "loved" to much, & those piano key 🎹 selector switches become intermittent & need rebuilding 🫣😱😬. These radios will work surprisingly well with virtually dead valves; it's when they fail mechanically that the radio quits or sounds horribly distorted (burnt out filaments or welds open, or develop severe interelectrode "shorts"). And yes. They DON'T build 'em the way they used to!🤗

  I have no less than four Uher 4000's, all purchased well used & as-is. That horrible noises the 🫨motor🫨 makes🫨 as it vibrates 🌋before you engage the transport (which is probably still there after you press PLAY, but the audio from the speaker drowns it out?🤔🤣🤣🤣) brings back strong & IMMEDIATE memories! My machines all sat around unused for several decades, with at least 2 of them coming from a disgusting moldy basement of a pathological hoarder (OK, don't come over to my house, the Pot should be careful when it calls the Kettle "black!"😏). You see the solid all-metal construction, then you turn them on, & the sound of that rattling & grumbling motor 🧻🚽🪠 makes your heart sink... surely the condition must be hopeless!🛑😐🚧 And don't look inside; Rube Goldberg at work!👹🤦 Uher makes Soviet mechanical engineering look elegant & of the world's finest quality!😬 At least the simplicity of the mechanism, the crude finish, & lack of parts quantity is very Soviet. Yet..EVERY single one of those badly neglected machines, even powered up for the very first time in maybe 50 years...STILL work PERFECTLY, & sound great!😳🤯😵‍💫 And despite having maybe 6 transistors in the entire signal path at any one time (3 of my models are the 4000 IC Report, so they have even less!🤣🤣🤣), listen to how the fidelity of this 723 is FAR better than that of the ReVox B77 in another video here!

  Sounds like a transistor ReVox in PERFECT working condition, dubbing the master tape off the original recorder!🤣🤣🤣 I love the burnt out lamp on the Left Channel VU meter, perfect! Just how I remember them!🤗 Thank Gob I own a G36...the only good sounding ReVoxes had valves in them...& they were as fantastic sounding as the transistor models sound EVIL!🙉🙉🙉 I remember how shocked & horrified I was when I heard the A77, B77, & A700 consumer machines, never mind the atrociously dry & "grainy" sounding Studer A80 studio machines. In fact, ALL the transistor Studer & ReVox machines sound dry & grainy to a repugnant degree; not a drop of tone colour to be heard, EVER!🤮 At least in North America we had FM; & therefore Stereo. I don't know how old your recording is, but I have 5" tapes recorded from about 1964-66 using my Uher 4000-L of FM news broadcasts & music from the CBC Canada. Even though they were recorded at 4,75cm/s, they still sound 10 000 times better than that! Unless you want to remember how AWFUL the sound of poverty was back then...ERASE. Because, never mind the awful times we live in now; don't we have enough bad memories from the past to last us to the end of our lives?🤔

  At least your old tapes play! Mine all either squeal like stuck pigs or shed oxide so bad they leave "brown slider" 💩stains all over the transport!😬 And the miserable old mono transistor thing works perfectly! Looks minty-fresh, too!🌟 Nice restoration! Because if this is all original & untouched, you're the luckiest FREAK in the entire world!🤗
