This channel is mainly about fish, with some other outdoor activities too! I have numerous ponds with koi and goldfish, as well as indoor aquariums with various pleco species and other fish. I also do some freshwater and saltwater fishing, kayaking, snorkeling, etc. I even upload some DIY idea videos every now and then. I saw a video a while back where a guy put an RV pressure valve and a dual tds sensor on his setup. It made it to where he could do a drip system and keep his tds consistently where he wanted. Pretty cool. Figured id share with you in case you want to fully automare with ro. Sweet setup youve got.

Hi, I only just come across your channel.. I will be giving you a like and a sub after this comment :) Ummm... with this pleco, it's a possibility of inbreeding, it's also a possibility of a zebra breeding with L333 or even L236sw? Either way he has striking patterns and quite unique ❤️🔥

I have a dozen or so 5 gallon buckets from various house remodels that originally contained paint or drywall joint compound. I've been using some for storing items, a couple as garbage cans, and others simply sit out in my backyard to collect rainwater for watering plants. This video shows some new interesting uses to me!

Does it work to spawn with no frozen food? i mean i have a lot but problem is in my tank i have a big pump and save 80% of the frozen food going inside the pump... i shutdown the pump for 30min at the evening when i give them some blood worms that works but not with Brine Shrimp... so Dr. Bassleer and Ebo is enough? Greetings from Germany i hope you can untersand me xD

Hi there! I actually never use frozen foods, and still have lots of spawns between all my tanks. Would I have more if I did use live and frozen foods? Maybe, but what I have been doing has worked well enough for me so far.

If this system had 0.5g emitters nice and slow. And strong heaters in each tank. Do you think the temp would move at all if it was running a few hours at a time straight ?

So I thought I ought to comment on this as I’ve had massive success in dealing with these permanently! Microbe-lift BMC, this stuff seems to be liquid death for them and is absolutely harmless for your fish, even invertebrates. I live in the UK so getting ahold of this stuff was a little tricky and I ended up having to order some from the states but it was still fairly inexpensive. I dosed daily for two weeks at four drops of BMC (100L tank for reference, roughly 26 US gallons I think?) I premixed the BMC in a cup with a very small amount of water just so it dissolves properly rather than floating in the tank. Luckily this stuff is pretty much natural so exact dose isn’t really necessary and I’ve not observed any different behaviour or mood in my fish nor has it shifted my water parameters. Going forward I’ll now dose once every two weeks purely to avoid ever dealing with this problem again. One bottle of BMC treats a ridiculous amount of water so it should keep you going for years if you dose it fortnightly. This stuff is normally used for mosquitos so you need far less to deal with drain flys/gnats. It only kills them in the larvae stage so for the first few days you will need to keep on top of removing any adult flies. So yeah, 3 months of trying everything under the sun to get rid of them and no luck. Two weeks of dosing BMC and I haven’t spotted a single fly since!

Do you have any recommendations for a predator/Oscar tanks . I have got rid of all my hang on the backs and am now just running a sponge filter . I have multiple tanks with guppies but really can’t put them in with the Oscar’s . Was not sure if there was any new information or chemical or medicine that could be used . Any advice would be greatly appreciated

My betta fish eats a bunch of them sometimes, he’s a lot more active now that there’s some little critters squirming around in the water. I was looking around on KZread to figure out what they are, some people said planaria other people said detritus worms or other harmless flatworms or roundworms or segmented worms, I have shrimp so I was worried about the possibility of planaria, but it makes sense that the fungus gnats I was already having trouble with in my houseplants had found more places to breed, I didn’t realize that fungus gnats larval stage lived underwater.
