I like zebras, but I just saw a few common/super-red hybrids that have mostly dark brown body and rich orange highlights around the mouth and the fins that are jaw-dropping. It's all preference, but those fish have a colorations that boggles my mind more than zebras

Really excited for you and to follow your progress with these guys! Love the excitement and happiness in your voice, rightfully so! You have the real deal, TwoTankAmin is highly respected for good reason, and a reliable source! New subscriber... wish I could buy more fish, especially something as special as these guys (don't worry, I know they take years to mature and you've only just got these!) but circumstances mean I can't right now, but I can certainly enjoy other people's journeys vicariously! Please keep us updated, and wishing you all the best with them!

looks good... only 1 question i have is regarding the air manifold, are all the lines running off all the same length to keep the pressure equal over all 18 filters?

It's great from the breeders perspective! I wanna know who buys 10+ Zebra Plecos in one go! These Plecos are very cool, but I think the hype has far outpaced the fish themselves. $100+ per fish is just insane to me for freshwater. I've got some Hypancistrus and I justified the rather high cost by telling myself I would be able to sell the fry for so much $$$. They have yet to spawn once, so props to you! It is an accomplishment. I've had Gouramis, Cichlids, and Rasboras spawn for me before but never any catfish or pleco. Maybe I will try Bristlenose first if they really are easy. Not sure what I'm doing wrong with my Hypans I guess its possible they are all male or all female, really hard to sex.

I’ve thought about trying to have my dog chase the hair and off, but she’s small and I was worried that heron would attack it. Is that possible?

You mentioned that your super reds were your bread and butter fish and you had a problem getting rid of them sometimes. Where do you sell them? I had a 32 tank fishroom not long ago and once life settles down again i will be setting up some of my tanks again. Blue eye lemons were my bread and butter fish. Cory were my second to them and following them were my neocaridina shrimp. Your super reds look very nice. I would like to get a strain of them going when i get setup again if possible.

A cheap way to secure things in a fish tank w/out suction cups is to scratch up the plastic & super glue on rectangular bar magnets. You can stack them if needed.

I saw a video a while back where a guy put an RV pressure valve and a dual tds sensor on his setup. It made it to where he could do a drip system and keep his tds consistently where he wanted. Pretty cool. Figured id share with you in case you want to fully automare with ro. Sweet setup youve got.

Hi, I only just come across your channel.. I will be giving you a like and a sub after this comment :) Ummm... with this pleco, it's a possibility of inbreeding, it's also a possibility of a zebra breeding with L333 or even L236sw? Either way he has striking patterns and quite unique ❤️🔥

I have a dozen or so 5 gallon buckets from various house remodels that originally contained paint or drywall joint compound. I've been using some for storing items, a couple as garbage cans, and others simply sit out in my backyard to collect rainwater for watering plants. This video shows some new interesting uses to me!

Does it work to spawn with no frozen food? i mean i have a lot but problem is in my tank i have a big pump and save 80% of the frozen food going inside the pump... i shutdown the pump for 30min at the evening when i give them some blood worms that works but not with Brine Shrimp... so Dr. Bassleer and Ebo is enough? Greetings from Germany i hope you can untersand me xD

Hi there! I actually never use frozen foods, and still have lots of spawns between all my tanks. Would I have more if I did use live and frozen foods? Maybe, but what I have been doing has worked well enough for me so far.
