I know that I am super late to this video. However, if anyone else is watching this and going through something similar, a possible reason for the low RPM is the Shorts. Shorts brings in a lot of subscribers but they are short-form viewers. They usually don't watch the videos all the way through and that can negatively affect your RMP.

My friend who is from GB says "Cutlery"... so this word is from the UK. Now, I am checking on both words: the cutlery and the flatware, in the dictionary (Cambridge Dictionary); and the flatware is the American version of cutlery, meaning is accurate, flatware is a bunch of forks, spoons and knives.

30:05 As a learner I totally agree with you. I know some Non-native English teachers are so committed to the content that they are creating but also some people are just taking their content as entertainment or even some are doing this to show-off so, their content is more harmful rather than helpful. I've had some bad experiences with these contents that made me go wrong in my path. I respect all those non-naive English teachers who are working well but we should expect that some people do not take this seriously and they have lots of errors in their content!

Hey Evelyn! I've got a tip that you might find useful in the debate about 'potable' being a common or uncommon word. There's an online tool called Google Books Ngram Viewer that allows you to compare words or phrases and see which of them is more popular. Check it out! Don't worry too much about Kevin and Liza. I think it's totally wrong to base their teaching on the idea that mastering a language is about grammar accuracy. Anyway, your videos are great, best of luck to your channel!

After watching your video, I immediately went to watch some of her videos, and lo and behold, there were plenty of mistakes in terms of pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary. So I wonder, how is she so popular, given the faulty content she provides? Then it hit me: there is something magnetic about her that keeps you glued to the screen. She has the looks, the charisma, the charm, the cuteness, and she is funny. So I guess at this point, people watch her (myself included) not to learn English, but rather to enjoy her incredibly engaging content.

Hi Evelyn! Thank you very much! I had the Clifton 9 and I was shocked, too. A very slow shoe. It is hard to pick up the pace. I don`t know why I bought it because I usually run Brooks. I had the Brooks Hyperion, now the Brooks Defayance12 both are much faster and slimmer for me as a lightweight runner. I am looking out for the Brooks Hyperion TEMPO now. Maybe that is something for you, too. A lightweight and slim running girl as you does not need shoes for heavy men ;-)

Tipping point in the world, do not go to relativley new countries like canada and usa. Head to well established countries who will not give up their culture or heritage. If white cannot obviously go to a lot of countrys whose culture does not accept based on race.if white family orientated, willing to work are christians i would suggest poland, hungary, a coupple of other european countries. As they promote families, education, religion etc

I wondered if there was a trend to teach English this way. One of those IG accounts has millions of followers. Birdday? Don't you want to learn to pronounce it as close as you can? What is the point of teaching incorrect pronunciation? Does it help a non-native speaker that way? And some of these expressions work in movies and TV shows, but outside of that, If you said them in real life, it's awkward. I'm not an English teacher, but it made me frustrated seeing these on Instagram. I thought I was the only one. I have a friend who's using these accounts on Instagram to help him learn English. I've tried to tell him that you probably don't want to say things the way one of the creators says it, but I don't have millions of followers, so what do I know?

What do you think of this answer from ChatGPT? " Both sentences are correct, but they are used in different contexts: "It's important that she learn a lesson." This uses the subjunctive mood, which is often used in formal writing or speech to express wishes, demands, or suggestions. It implies that it is crucial for her to learn a lesson, and this is a desired or required outcome. "It's important that she learns a lesson." This uses the indicative mood, which is more common in everyday speech. It states a fact that it is important for her to learn a lesson. In most casual contexts, the second sentence ("It's important that she learns a lesson") is more commonly used. However, the first sentence ("It's important that she learn a lesson") can still be correct, especially in more formal situations. "

How interesting, I've started learning Italian not long ago and these last three size names absolutely made sense to me as I saw them pop up on the screen. It amuses me that among cappuccino, macchiato, etc. Italy also has "un caffè corretto" - an espresso with a small amount of liqueur - "a correct coffee" literally.😅
