    I think you're not quite comprehending what gender actually is. It is distinct from sex, and though it is a social construct, it is real. The term being coined whenever doesn't affect that there has always been a distinction between the physiological differences in humans, and the social differences people feel based on their gender. For a simple example, the idea that men don't wear dresses (in most modern western cultures) in one based on societal vales relating to gender, nothing even vaguely inherent to sex. Additionally, you don't have to perceive anyone any way you don't want to, but anyone going around admitting they choose not to fully recognise a person's social transition is obviously just not a very nice person as far as I'm concerned. And disappointing. I'm surprised by this attitude of feigning respect, while deep down pointlessly holding onto some idea that a trans person will never be like the peers they choose. And in my personal experience, people are understanding if you slip up on how you refer to someone. You don't need to be on high alert all the time. I've certainly never met any trans people that think this way. If you are corrected and make an effort to do better, that's all people request. It's always important to be conscious of how anything you say about a person could upset them, but that doesn't mean you can never make a mistake. It's obvious you're not the most informed on these issues though, so if you are to make these opinion pieces on topics which are currently affecting millions of people around the world, in tragically often deadly manners, I strongly suggest you read up on these things first. It's clear from your immediate dismissal of topics like sports that you haven't even seriously consulted any opposing viewpoints on the matter (or the scientific evidence) because of some underlying beliefs, but are still happy to spread ideas about it regardless.

    @@kizzume Yeah I know, but you can change sex as well as gender, you know right? These are different things but both are referred to as transgender. Any sports that allow trans people to compete will only be allowing people with the correct hormones. Again, I implore you to partake in some further reading around the topic. Also what I said at the start of the first comment was more in reference to what you said about gender being conceived in the 60s, than sports.

  • @kizzume
    @kizzume9 сағат бұрын

    No, you cannot change your sex, the chromosomes are still the same. Yes, hormones change a number of things, but not enough to truly consider someone the opposite sex. It's simply not fair in sports.

  • @Bryzerse
    @Bryzerse9 сағат бұрын

    @@kizzume Right this is why further reading would benefit you. Sure you keep the chromosomes, but that literally means nothing, chromosomes don't give you muscles or whatever you think. It's actually hormones that make the big difference. Interesting that this is very literally the only point you care to disagree with though. I personally don't buy into the whole "unfairness" stuff because sports already isn't fair in the slightest (there's a reason Usain Bolt is the fastest man alive, or even just why all basketball players are super tall). But anyway, by your personal definitions, what would you consider "enough to truly consider someone the opposite sex"?

  • @kizzume

    @@Bryzerse We segregate sports for a reason. Women's sports will die if keep this up--but it sounds to me like you think they shouldn't be segregated to begin with. It seems that it's all about dismantling systems. As far as being enough to consider someone the opposite sex, we simply don't have that technology and probably never will--it would essentially require changing someone's DNA. You cannot be something that you're physically not. But socially you can be whatever you want.

It's also impossible not to be adversaries with someone, for example Russia vs Ukraine. Biden has handled himself poorly, I think he's a lousy president but he's also very clearly not the decision maker in his government. He's a president just in name, the guy can barely address someone properly. I disagree with this premise despite agreeing with your criticism of libsoftiktok. Cancel culture is actually one of three things, depending on who you ask: 1. It's what Libsoftiktok does, which is actually stochastic terrorism that makes minorities such as queer people less safe and drives hate mobs of insane freaks online to ruin their careers due entirely to the hate mobs' own bigotries that have no grounds in reality. This is actually a real problem that should have action against it. 2. It's when a famous person does or says something fairly reprehensible, and there's a public backlash about enjoying their content in some way. This has never actually affected any celebrity in a way that truly matters, unless the crime was sexual assault. And even then, it's not a given. 3. It's when a normal person with a small following online does or says something fairly reprehensible, and there's a bashlash about it. This is just being held accountable by a community of your peers for your actions and has existed since the dawn of civilization. These are all separate phenomenon, and only the first one is reprehensible. Therefore, an attempt to "both sides" the situation like an "enlightened" centrist who believes themself to be smarter than anybody with real skin in the game by saying, "It's bad that libsoftiktok ruined those teachers' lives, but it's ALSO bad that some people (rightfully) recognize that Trump exhibits the traits of historic fascist leaders. Truly, these are equally as bad" is kind of stupid and shows a lack of understanding of how disgusting libsoftiktok's actions truly are. There is a difference between punching down at ordinary people, and punching up at powerful people who are actively ruining your life. These are not the same things.

    Was 8 years of anti-Trump mainstream media claiming Trump is a Nazi stochastic terrorism against Trump? I somewhat disagree with the concept of stochastic terrorism, for the simple fact that it could stop people from showing concern about or complain about ANY group or demographic. It's BS, just like the concept of hate speech being some terrible crime that should give people jailtime. What constitutes hate speech? It's all very one-sided. A simple "backlash" as you call it shouldn't involve trying to get someone fired from their jobs. LibsOfTikTok has recently started trying to get anyone fired who says they wish the shooter hadn't missed Trump. Much of the cancel culture from the left is all about trying to absolutely ruin someone, especially if they don't have power. If it was just about calling someone out, like a simple backlash, none of this would be an issue. You should watch my followup video.

The thing is that one side seems so obviously more reasonable to me on what those standards tend to be, as I explained in the previous video. I just can't fathom why it took the dems this long to understand, that Biden is not fit mentally anymore. Even Obama said he needs to step down from running. Why did the debate with Trump open so many dems eyes. Why not the countless of red flags throughout his presidency? He was already declining when he took office. Compare Biden 2021 to now, even his speech is more and more unclear mumbling?

    Sure, but if you do the same comparison with trump and you'll see the same kind of cognitive decline, it's an election between two elderly people who have been falling apart for the last 8 years. Personally I'd rather have the people around Biden in power than the people around Trump.

    @@adoredpariah It isn't the same kind of cognitive decline. This is delusional.

    @@daveldma It really is though, again do the same kind of comparison. Watch videos of Trump's campaigns and speeches from around 2016 and compare them to today, he is significantly quicker, sharper and funnier than he is today. I think if you really do watch the differences uncritically, you'll see it's the same kind of decline as Biden. It is what it is man.
