Like a previous comment, I really appreciate you sharing your ideas! Are you happy with the torque of the HF drill you bought...I don't think it is what you showed here, I think it was the 7.5 amp 600 rpm model.

I've also started buying parts to try my hand at building my own...I was going to buy the Mud Mixer ...I've had it in my cart multiple times...most recently a week ago...with the free hopper extension and including the add-on chute. With tax and shipping to Kansas it was over $3700. I would love to just buy one but can't justify it at that price point. That's why I'm so thankful for videos like this one! Great job and thanks for sharing your ideas! Really appreciate it!

Dam !! This is amazing build and inspiring!! For past year have my eyes on 2 different types of these machines. Each about 3 g. Bought some land in Ozarks VERY REMOTE. Im a big time do it myself person, and this came across my utube chanel. This is a good post from you, thank you much!!

Update: No failures yet mixing 3 full pallets of 60 lb bags. the 120 volt water solenoid I believe is failing due to dirt in the water line. Might add a filter screen to the water inlet

Old appliance tech those water valves are not designed for long run times! Glass of water or fill the ice maker I would just ball valve it.

Thanks for sharing. I’m attempting a build my self but bigger Using battery gun great idea keeping it simple. I think your water system is too small because you are limiting your supply One day you may want to max its production of concrete you’ll need all the water you can get

i think the resistance of the concrete would be the limiting factor. I'm at the max for this setup.

not really, best to keep it as dry as possible. I did use the vibrators some, really wasn't needed.
