    I had a quick question. How did the adapter fit, because the adapter ring for the 1.33x fits a front diameter of 82mm and the front diameter of the Remus is 80mm. Did it still screw in anyways? Was planning on doing this so I’d appreciate a response. Thanks

    @@jimbo_g the Remus has a 77mm filter thread, and the Moment has a 67mm rear - but it comes with stepup rings, specifically a 67-77mm. Put that on the Moment, and screw it onto the Remus.

    You multiply their squeeze factors, not add. 1.5 x 1.33 = 2x squeeze.

  • @redbeardproductions-kevind9806
    @redbeardproductions-kevind98065 ай бұрын

    For instance the squeeze factor of a spherical lens is 1x. If you use a 1.33x anamorphic adapter, you multiply 1.33 x 1 = 1.33x. This time my taking lens is 1.5x and my adapter is 1.33x. 1.5 x 1.33 = 2x.

    Hi thanks, great video! I have a question though. For Rokinon lenses you said the focus throw was too short and for these Meike you said is too long or longer than you're used to. And I'm just a beginner, so I'm curious, what would be the ideal number of degrees for focus throw in cine lenses?

  • @redbeardproductions-kevind9806
    @redbeardproductions-kevind98065 ай бұрын

    Hey Hector. I would say if you're going to be pulling focus by hand, then I'd want about 270° give or take. But I use a focus motor to pull focus now, so it really doesn't matter as much as it used to. You can map the starting and end points to the motor, then it is basically the same with every lens.
