Yugoslavia was created at the expense of Serbian lives - nazzi puppets (Croatians, bosniaks, Slovenians, some Macedonians, Albanians) were not punished for killing more than 1,2 million of Serbs. That costed us again - in a proxy war against NATO formed nazzi pupet were used to mainly commit an ethnic cleansing of Serbs and latter 'washed up' NATO based court. So, no way another Yugoslavia will be formed. There will be peace in Balkan once Serbia liberate Kosovo and Metohia, Republic of Serbska become independent and Slovenians and Croats pay for the crimes against Serbs.

As far as I’m concerned, the US (more specifically Trump & Maga) has made it very clear they couldn’t give a toss about its allies in Europe as money talks louder. We appreciate the support they have given in Ukraine, but we need to step up our own game now and drop the reliance on the US as they are unreliable

Remember the military is always first at the feeding trough, if denied they just install a new government! What does Egypt have to raise funds to pay its loans, except to refinance its old dept into more debt! Egypt is sending Russian jet engines and helicopter engines back to Russia for their war in the Ukraine! All the while America gives them billions in aid every year! I see a revolution in Egypt as the inequalities between “the haves and the majority have nots” rebel from hunger and lack of any future. This piece is downright silly. Europe WILL NOT permit Putin to win. Whatever the cost. Putin wants to turn the clock back to the days of might is right. Not going to happen. The European countries most determined to beggar themselves, if that is necessary, are those formerly under the yoke of the USSR. The other European countries don't want a return to the never-ending wars which proliferated between them until WWII brought about about NATO and the Common Agricultural Policy. The EU (as the CAP now is) has provided growing prosperity from its inception. People won't permit Putin to destroy their childrens' future. Even the EFTA countries have joined NATO. If a united Europe isn't enough consider Xi. He is watching Putin's failure. He wants Russia to beggar itself of manpower and materiel. He wants Manchuria back. That said, water is an urgent priority. Lake Baikal looks incredibly desirable. Further, if Russia becomes China's pensioners Xi has access to oil, gas and coal; not to mention a warm water port. The natural resources and port would remove most of the drag which stops Xi invading Taiwan. China 's import/export currently needs seaborne routes. That reliance would drop sharply. In reality, Xi would be even more vulnerable to global sanctions than Putin. But both of these elderly men are so determined ro recreate past glories (as they see it) that current reality is anathema to their egos. I haven't mentioned America. If the orange slug regains power America can be dismissed from consideration. Until the November votes are announced America is unreliable.
