Imagine having to rely on a extremely cheap looking plastic box with a beep beep machine that can easily be muffled with a wet towel. I used to be a muppet and steal tools and let me tell you right now that wouldn't deter me. Unless the security sound plays through the car speakers i could find the device very quickly and muffle it while i run off with your tool box. Get a checkered aluminium box and have it bolted in so it cant be removed without opening it and taking bolts out, 2 padlocks, one either end will stop theives buckling the lid and just pinching what fits out the bent lid

You can set up a wedge system to really get the board together. FlexSeal is good stuff but one really have to cover and seal the tip after use. The stuff sets up and the tube goes bad quickly.

I wish they make the adapter to fit the regular base as the dust collection is poor on their plunge base. I ended up making my own, but I shouldn't have to with the price they charge for the adapter, let alone the cost of the plunge base.

A tip: if you ever want to use 2 spanners , use them with ONE hand Just position the 2 spanners, so you can squeeze them open (or close) with one hand. That can save a lot of injuries and evt. damage. Oh and never put a router bit ALL the way inside the Machine , slide it in till the end and then ever so slightly pull it back a mill or 2 and then lock it tight with the red stop button and one spanner.
