I lived in Germany for three years. No problems, they were much the same as us. Great folk. Brits have a great sense of humour, but it's our own.

A friend of us with German ancestors came from Argentina to work in Munich for 2 years. First thing he mentioned was that he didn't understand the Germans complainig about the public transportation and that they even run after a Metro train, when the next one arrives in 5 minutes. He said, in Argentina you are glad if the train comes once a day, if it comes. And he loved the safety in Germany and said, you can't walk in the streets of main cities in Argentina because it might be live-threatening. - 2 years later, when he left Germany, he was completely "germanized" and complained about a Metro train to the airport, that was 5 minutes too late... 😂

It is a dumb question. Its like asking what do you think of Europeans?. No such thing as British. We are English, Scots, Irish and Welsh. We all have our cultures and customs but live on the same island and are run by corrupt governments.

The thing is that we are so similar, that we often focus and exaggerate our differences. South germany has more in common with austria and Switzerland, north germans are closer to Denmark or the Netherlands. In the big picture we are very similar.

Made me feel a bit ashamed these guys spoke very good english ,we in England take it for granted that most will speak our mother tongue , while most of us barely learn to speak another language... Big respect to those German lads for speaking very good English. .. My surname is Webber so you would think I'd have some German but to my shame I barely speak a word . .. I agree with the lads our sausage rolls do taste a bit raw 🤣👍... I will endeavour to learn a few more German words my Kamaraden " Respect from the UK 🇬🇧

Because you are a cheap worker, auntie 😂 Secondly, the relations between the men and women of our country is none of your business, at this point you are the "outer latch of the outer door". Third: My boyfriend is Turkish and we will get engaged in 3 months. Your only duty in Turkey is cheap labor, never try to attribute the mission of Slavic women to Turkish women, auntie. Now leave here and stay away content about Turkish women forever. You are obsessed with us as I see the tons of YT contents of russian/ukranian women about Turkish women.

Im at the end of my apprenticeship and I’ve been into too much of discrimination, bullying, sabotaging, alienating from the group, sexual harassment and all was in an enterprise that had a good reputation… it was all a lie!! Working with Germans was a horrible experience for me, I had to fight for the bare minimum.. even my contract was not respected as they paid me less than whats on the contract and when I talked all thru the reaction was.. laughin at my face and telling me, we won’t take you seriously‘ . They even ended up ending my contract and my told me go Spanien, there good weather there, here is bad weather and there is nothing here.. pure racism. I will never ever work with Germans ever again!!

What do the English think of Germans, the cause of 2 world wars, G.B, paid for the rebuild of Germany after WW2, Germany flooded Europe with unwanted migrants, German E.U, WEF, obnoxious Germans pushing their world and political views on Europe...Germany build up a war in the Ukraine (their war time accomplices) Germany no thanks.

I'm Norwegian but I still have an opinion. Germans are much like Norwegians in attitude: calm, and polite, but keep a distance. If you make a German (or Norwegian) friend, you have a friend for life. The Brits are much more superficial. They can be great when you meet them, but the day after they have forgotten you. Brits like to be sarcastic, they are definitely not calm if they love or hate something, and give them a couple of pints and they forget any politeness. They are kind of like mad dogs: Fun to watch but keep a distance. I live in East Africa and there, Brits are very racist it seems. You can never trust them as an honest friend. And they want to be at the center of attention all the time. But they sometimes speak good English.

Well, as hardly nobody learns and respects the norms of the Germans in their country, some directness is absolutely suitable if not even needed. Finally most people, who come to Germany want to benefit from a civilised system, that makes living together beneficial. So you have to follow the rules.

Germans: how dare you call us arrogant, we are so much more open minded than Austrians! But also, let me explain your country to you.... I actually don't find the German attitude towards us that nice. On the surface it might seem like it, but it is often quite condescending. When they say we have cute accents it almost sounds lile when you talk to a child who made up their own language. And I have even heard Germans correct Austria ns when they speak Austrian German, they often have this attitude that only German German is correct, everything else is dialect (which they don't value as much either, compared to Austria). I think a lot of Germans move to Austria thinking it will be just like moving to a different german state and then they are surprised that it isn't.

My father served in WW2 in the Navy, including the D day landings. Having survived he went to many meeting where Brits, French, Germans and Russian survivors. His preferences were Brits first obs, then German, then Russian then French. At all these meeting he said the Germans and British could have joined together to make an amazing Europe.

The Germans are extremely well mannered. I walked into a flight planning room where their air force pilots were planning and they all immediately switched to English so that I would understand.
