I went to Las Vegas last year to see Foreigner. What I saw was a Foreigner tribute band....not a single original member. Mick Jones still "owns" the band and he did come out for the last two songs, but it was just not the same at all. Had it not been for Kelly Hanson, the lead singer, I doubt I would have stayed past the first couple of songs.

I remember loving this song. One day I was shopping and ran across some red ballet flat shoes. Of course I immediately thought of this song and had to buy them! Wore the heck out of them. Great song and memory.

Growing up and hanging out with my neighborhood friends shooting pool and listening to music all the Zep records as they came out were in heavy rotation on the stereo…House’s of the Holy was a big one for sure….we all loved it just as much as the preceding releases.

The were the King of No Balls of Light Rock. My one wish is for someone to take Air Supply song and give it Balls. Meaning Taking it from Light Rock to Heavy Rock/Metal.. Would be cool to hear All out of Love with Heavy Metal Vibe.

Not saying they are not talented. Not my cup of tea. Not appealing to the masculine mind. I can say this for Madonna and Lady Gaga too, however that is not to say there are not feminine bands that I do feel appeal to the masculine mind, such as.Roxette, the Bangles, the Runaways and the incomparable Fleetwood Mac. This might be the key to the Abba paradox. The men in the group did not have a prominent role or voice inside of their sound. As all these other bands were either entirely female bands pushing for a hard rock sound or there was a balance within the band where everyone had equal say.

Prince was such an asshole. He was a musical genius. And I understand his desire as a creator to protect the integrity of his work, and his vision of his work. But underneath all of that he was legitimately just an asshole.

I fully understand Led Zeppelin’s contribution and influence on rock music, but I cannot say I am a real fan. Decent enough tunes, catchy and often well done. I guess we like what we like and it is hard to explain why. Seems I should like them more but that would just feel forced. I do not dislike them by any means. The band makes me really think about this issue I have every time I hear them. So odd.

I know people have raised some accusations about LZ but things were different back then & especially in England, the laws were vastly different and artists weren't protected like they are today. Not saying it as an excuse, or that they're guilty of theft, but it's important to understand how things worked back then to get the whole story.

The funny thing is that the few times that I have watched one of your videos. This is the first time where I was pretty sure I knew who you were going to talk about and I think about her sometimes because I know a little bit about what happened with her in Ireland I think that’s where she was and that the tension that is caused by the Catholic Church. Oh no everything people do there and him the legalities to actually a theocracy over there theocracy’s are evil on the thing that like to put across is that dumb in the Old Testament even whenever God was involved people didn’t come it didn’t work, so why should we even try to have theocracies at all because you can’t I can’t control people in fact, God gives everybody free will to have a choice and when you’ve got a church that’s controlling everybody so that they don’t have any choice they’re actively singing in the Catholic Church is pretty much that it is a structure that has been made to control people and it has one major blaring eyesore and that’s a man that’s between God or between Jesus and us that there’s not supposed to be an idol between us and God and the pope is that And so for that reason the only thing that keeps Catholicism together is the rituals and the rituals or what everybody objects to they don’t really keep in mind a lot of them don’t keep in mind. What the meaning of the rituals are they just do them and it gives them justification to do other things or it or it limits them. In other ways it’s like What do you actually know about what you’re believing if you are believing it is it all if it’s become a theocracy, then there’s probably nothing there or you haven’t really learned it at all or that you’re not really following anything out that you’re just holding onto it because you’re fearful that you’re gonna lose it you know but that’s kind of the downside to religion is the fear that you’ve lost it

Oh Boy! I Was One Of The Mentally Hypnotized Kids That Went Wild About "Tommy James & The Shondells" Great 60's Hit Songs Even Some Of Their Lesser Known Tunes. "Draggin' The Line"....I Read Somewhere That Was All Tommy's Work Alone...Which I Love Too...From The 70's. I Also Very Much Adore And Still Try To Sing...I Think Were Alone Now...Get Out Now...And My Favourite Tune "Mirage"...But WHO Can Even Attempt To Re-do This Difficult Song? I Remember "Hanky Panky" Hitting The "Chum Chart" And Our 6 Transistor Radios. Great Times. Thank You

FYI, No Rain has nothing to do with Shannon or his drug issues. It was written by Brad Smith before he'd ever met Shannon. "'No Rain came from when I first moved to California, and I was playing songs on Venice Beach for change. I was having to come up with the material during the week after my construction job, and then I would get my guitar and go down to the beach and open up a guitar case. I'd play on the Venice Beach boardwalk for change, for enough money to pay for parking and chicken teriyaki. That was my weekend." - Brad Smith
