  The wave is not high. With a sea state defined by the Beaufort Scale as MODERATE, it is not higher than 2.0 to 2.5 meters. The ship sails calmly on its course, side to wave and wind. If the weather was really stormy and the wave mighty and dangerous, I assure you that the captain would have decided to change course. During a storm, sailing is done with or (more often) against the wind. Bad weather like the one in this video happens in the North Sea 250 days a year and is only really dangerous for small yachts with inexperienced sailors on board.
