That's the one thing that upsets me most about today's generation. Everybody seems too busy to spend time with each other. And worse yet, don't seem to want to make the time.😢
@@snatr Honestly, there have always been tons of people our age that didn’t make time for others and tons that did. We can find whatever examples we look for when it comes to this. My kids were brought up intentionally spending time with their elders and their friends and now as early adults they continue to make this a priority in their lives and have surrounded themselves with similar people. Heck, I need to be better at this myself 🤣 Thanks for stirring up my next video idea!! 💕

I haven't ridden in over 40 years, I'm retiring soon and now I'm starting to shop around for a bike
@@peteortiz3554 Exciting!! Pete, as a motorcycle instructor for over 20 years, I urge you to find a little used 500 cc standard seating style bike or similar to get back in. I’ve seen so many people get back into riding on a large heavy bike and never really get the skills they need to enjoy it properly. A small used beater for a season after taking a class will help you enjoy this new chapter way more and for a long time! Welcome back!!
Whole new meaning to Moto therapy! Couldn't agree more.
@@RatsnRods 1 of the million reasons to ride!! :)
Happy Independence Day from India🇮🇳❤
Thank you so much for this!!! You are absolutely right!!!
Im so glad it helped you in any way!
I sat in my desk chair by the computer for 20 years with 2 damaged hips. The left had shattered and impacted into the socket. Replaced 3/16. The right one imploded on itself and replaced Last June. So, I've put over 6 miles on my bike since I am now able to ride it safely! But 95-97F is too hot to ride while wearing all the gear.
We all have our trials and tribulations. I had to get both hips replaced to get my balance back to ride the V Star 250 I bought in august '22. And all the rehab to get here. But I am a bit more at peace with it now that I can ride again! And walk pretty decent without a cane or walker anymore! I'm 68 now, and living proof that if you want it, really want it...then get out there and just do it!
Don’t know how I found your channel but I’m very glad I did! Thank you for taking the time to uplift others it truly is inspiring!
That means so much. Thanks and I’m glad we connected! Ride Well, Ride Often!
You nailed it!
Thanks! Glad it resonated!! Ride Well, Ride Often!
This articulates very well the reasons why I love riding. I had to sell my bike in 2020 to get by when covid took my job, but now I have moved and have a new job and I have money saved to start riding again. This just gets me more motivated than ever. Thank you!
Thanks for the support. So excited for you!! Ride well and Ride Often!
Not true but I feel ya 😂😂😂
I've parked mine dozens of times 😂

Hearing this helps a lot, I'm happy to be one of your first 100 subscribers, the algorithm smiled on me this day, cheers 🎉
I’m happy we’ve connected and glad this helped. I look forward to adding many more videos on these topics and more as I ride. Thanks for the support!
I have an additional idea for you as to why motorcycling is so beneficial which I learned many years ago while backpacking. When you go backpacking deep into wild and spectacular areas, you are many days walk from anywhere. The terrain is difficult at best with sometimes thousands of feet of elevation change per mile. It might be in a torrential downpour. These areas will frequently have animals that are above you in the food chain. Everything is difficult and you have a 50 pound pack on your back filled with the difference between you surviving and not. Your vision into the future and the past is non-existent. You can only focus at the 1mph walk, getting up or down the next mountain. All of this together makes it impossible to worry or even think about anything else that is happening in that far away place that existed before you got on the trail. Motorcycling is a little bit like this. If you are doing it right, it takes your focus off all those things way back in that far away place before you got on the bike. If you take your mind to anywhere else, the odds of the wild animals on the road taking you out are high.
I couldn’t agree more! The mind clearing peace of being 100% present is therapeutic for sure!!
Something doesn't look right about your Aerostich. Is it missing armor?
No. It’s the Darien Jacket so it doesn’t have those traditional shoulder patches like the Roadcrafter.
@@MindsetMotoGuy oh, that's fits way different. I have the R3.
