Testimonies and life experiences are a powerful way to learn about God. They not only strength out faith, they also encourage others to turn their lives towards Christ. Ultimately we all want to have a place in heaven when we pass on and hopefully these testimonies will help you keep faith and following Christ. Let us help each other truly understand how God wants to be involved in our lives 24/7. It is for His glory and not our own.
Buhle and I (Moby) we've come together to use our life experiences for the glory of God and turning of lives
.
Some videos will be about handmade bath and body care. That being said Christ first.

    Thanks, but what if I want to add other powdered additives like soda ash, kaolin etc.. how do I go about it

  • @humblednature9593
    @humblednature95936 ай бұрын

    You add 1 teaspoon of the additive per 1 pound oil. For example if you have 5 pounds of oil, you'll add 5 teaspoons of kaolin.

    Hi will there not be more liquid in the mold when water, lye, and fragrance oils are added to it.

  • @humblednature9593
    @humblednature95936 ай бұрын

    Hi there, no there won't be. This video simply helps you determine the amount of oil needed in your mold. Once you have that you can check out my other video "how to use soapcalc" and that will give you amounts of water and lye you need based on the size of your mold

  • @humblednature9593
    @humblednature9593 Жыл бұрын

    Your mould holds a total of 111.7oz so to know the amount of oil you need you multiply 0.39*111.7=43.56oz It's almost saying 39% of your total soap weight is oils. That means out of 111.7 total weight, 43.56 of it will be oils But sometimes 0.39 will not be enough to fill up your mould, it's a matter of trial and error. First make a soap that has 0.39*111.7= 43.56oz of oil. If it does fill up the mould then try 0.40*111.7

    How do you know how much honey (or any non-oil ingredients) into your soap? Trying to learn how to make shampoo bars. By "Water Concentration" do you mean Lye Concentration? Or are you actually using 33% water and 67% lye? That doesn't make sense.

  • @humblednature9593
    @humblednature95932 жыл бұрын

    True it wouldn't make sense. Calculating water as percentage of oils is not the same as lye concentration. If water is 33% of oils it will equal to 29.3 lye concentration

    What is the difference between hot process soap and cold process soap? Thanks for answering

  • @humblednature9593
    @humblednature95932 жыл бұрын

    Heyyy. Cold process soap is soap that's left alone after is reaches trace. You simply pour it in a mold and let it saponify on it's own between 24-48hrs. Hot process soap is soap that is aided by heat to reach saponification faster in an hour or less. In other words it's cooked soap. I'll do a vid showing the benefits and drawbacks of the 2

    Weighing the mold will simply give you the weight of it but not the volume. You could place the mold on a scale, tare the scale then add a dense substance till it's full e.g water or flour and see how much it weighs and that's your volume
