  There is no way a can of MMT increased your engine performance 99 HP. A) You either do not know what you're doing B) You need to take dyno and engineering lessons C) Boostane (Ian) is paying you propaganda money to push this crap. I would make further comments but this is youtube

  Boostane definitely works. You need to be careful with long term use for the catalytic converters. I have a 2016 f150 with whipple 2.9 and their canned tune and larger pulley due to the fact we only have 91 here in Phoenix. I would still get detonation under moderate load and tried this stuff out. It immediately fixed the issue so I know it definitely works. It did cause my cats to clog after prolonged use of the professional blend. I ended up getting the dreaded p0430 code , scoured the forums and found a mixture that you could soak the cats in for a day to clean them out. It worked and has been great for 4 plus years now with only occasional use of boostane. Just installed the P1X kit on my GT350 and my tuner , Lund , could only get a good pump gas tune using boostane. Going to have to go cycle between boostane and 100 octane mixed with 91 for a while until we hopefully get more E85 stations. TL:DR Don't overuse boostane if you have cats.

  If one is using this without a tune on a 2020 Explorer ST, would it be optimal to fill up, add Boostane, then reset the ECU? Or just let the ECU do its thang???

  Let the ECU do its thing, but on like a Mustang, it takes about 6-7 hits and some idle time for all the “normal” fuel to get drained from the rails, before the “octane boost” will get injected into the motor.

  Good info. Would you say most of the major coyote tuners tunes are set up to add more and more timing depending if the octane is there? I have a boosted S550 with a VMP tune. I use Boostane but usually just enough to yield 96 - 97 octane which is only 4oz per the Boostane calculator

  Send your a tuner and ask :). Or test it yourself on a Dyno. Some do, some don’t.

  Can you guys run a comparison with VP Racing's Madditive Octane Booster as well? I prefer Boostane over it but I still notice a little better acceleration with it

  I've been running boostane for a few years now in my F1a Procharged 416ci ls3 Trans AM. I've kept the timing conservative, but I know it's safe. I put a can in every time I fill up with 93.
