I love the big ol round plain moist Pandan spongecakes from the Asian Grocers. Could eat one of those all by myself. But the Pandan Lamington and Swissroll looks next level! ❤ from Melbourne, Australia
Miss Villis burgers ~ enjoyed this vlogg ❤❤❤

Great vid! Me and my partner are planning a trip to Auckland because of your videos. You should come to Christchurch!
I'm just wondering what is actually wrong with calling Auckland, Auckland?

Awesome 😍 He was so friendly. Can’t wait to get back for māroro one day soon! Thanks for watching! Cheers, Sheena
About Burek the name Yufka is called when you knead the dough, but when you roll out the dough thinly its called "Kora"(the crust) or "Kore" in plural, the burek is usually made from 4 layers of Kora with fats or oil, and in between two of them theres a fill depending of from which is made...in old ways the crusts were mada around 300 grams but today in new ways they make it around 200 grams with filling around 200-300 grams whole "Tepsija"(casserole) of Burek is around 1000 and they usually cut the quarter of 1kilos (around 250 grams) piece...in oldways it was waged at wish how much you want in grams, now its simplified to be fresh and equal to everyone...
Oh wow...
Awesome episode again guys. The baby pancakes look exactly like the Dutch poffertjies. Same pan and they also serve with icing sugar and butter. It's a winter sweet treats they serve at the Dutch markets in the Netherlands. They also serve them with chocolate syrup. You can sometimes get them at Dutch markets in NZ. Cambridge Dutch market has them. Very yum.
poke girl ..... pronounced por-care (said fast) .... lol
😆 I was saying it like the Hawaiian poke 😆 thanks for that mate. Cheers, Sheena
So fresh Sheena and Thomas🎉
So good!
Had a fat one today, had to line up. Best pie's in the world
Yum! Lucky you!
I've had some good pies in my time but my daughter makes the best children pie ive ever had.
Love a good pie. Thanks for watching. Thomas.
You got your poke from the best place.. IYKYK!! They also make a good curry goat rukau and rice. 🙌
So yum! He sold his last rukau to the person in front of us so we missed out by seconds. Good reason to return! Thanks for watching. Thomas
Ha! American breakfast--pancakes with butter and maple syrup but in the Cook Islands! Cool.
So cool. Loved the mini version. Thanks heaps for watching. Thomas
4:09 The sausage is soft from the outside, because it is produced without any casing. The sausage is called "Wollwurst" and gets its texture, due to directly blanching it, after production.
Great to know. Thanks heaps. Cheers, Thomas
That coconut sauce is called moina tae it's not only perfect for rice , fish and chicken but for hangovers to 👀😂
Haha 😂 thanks for the info. It was so good on that meal. Thanks for watching. Thomas
Loving the relaxed, island vibe in this series. But the food looks fantastic, too! Time to book an island getaway. ❤️🙌❤️
Thanks mate! It was such a lovely chilled place. We can’t wait to return to eat and film more. As always thanks so much for watching. Thomas.
The pies are delicious, we'll definitely go back for another before leaving the Island and the price is great. Dona kebabs are OK, nothing to rave about and I feel shouldn't cost anymore then $16, that was a been there tried that, next, for us.
Every single dish of food and drinks presented looks so yummy! Hope you had a great time! Can’t wait for next blog!
We sure did thanks mate. Thank you for watching. Cheers, Thomas
Now THAT is a market I could get into😊 That tuna!!! Loving this series❤
Thanks mate! How cool was the bbq tuna place. So neat. Thanks very much for watching. Thomas
That place looks so epic!!! Loving the new videos Zadie is just too cute 😍😍
Thanks heaps! So glad you’re enjoy them. We’re having great fun filming. Zadie really seems to be getting into it too 🙌 Thanks so much. Thomas
Hi guys this is a super series and I'm jealous as it reminds me of my 8 trips to Samoa, island life is fantastic, keep em coming , cheers Alister in OZ.
So glad you’re enjoying them. We’d love to visit Samoa one day soon. Thanks for watching. Thomas
We are going there next month! Thanks for the recommendations.
Awesome! You’ll have a great time I bet. One more video to come in this 5 part series. Thanks for watching and have a great trip. Thomas
I don't get it, If it wasn't for the cheese... no gravy at all. Gravy & grisel aren't co-dependents... it's possible to have a deep, dark gravy with top quality mince..
Not sure what your question is sorry? Thanks for watching. Thomas
Yummmmm.....I love flying fish🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 WoW those are some tasty looking food finds. I'm really hungry know maybe I should have waited instead watching at 4am. Super great vlog solid 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Haha hope breakfast was good once you got there. Thanks heaps for watching. Cheers, Thomas
😋👍
Thanks for watching mate! Thomas
We just had the Poke and pineapple pie today and they aren't that great, if your easily please you might enjoy them. Muri night market is overpriced for what you get and you can get better deals elsewhere for food/smoothies. The dona kebabs from Falafel Shack are OK but nothing to rave about. The pie from Soul's Cafe is absolutely delicious and well worth the stop. Food at Antipodes is overpriced but the meals are good. Laguna Restaurant has fair pricing and the food is OK. Vili's Bugers are also delicious and we'll definitely go back. We're trying as many cafe/restaurants as we can while in Raro, so hopefully come across more gems. Thanks for the heads up on some of your suggestions.
So jello those munchies look mean
So yum. Thanks heaps for watching mate. Cheers, Thomas
Oh wow! The market has more stores from the last time I was there! I spotted my uncle eating behind you at the maroro store when you popped some maniota on your plate 😂 those baby pancakes look so good! Loving the vids ❤
Haha that’s so cool re seeing your uncle! Neat to hear the market is growing. It was really buzzing. Thanks so much for watching. Thomas
😂 poke it in real quick then your face
Thanks for watching. Thomas
I LOVE the Rarotonga series, it's so awesome t watch the beauty of the cook islands, and I also love watching your baby girl in the videos, she's growing up so fast. The baby pancakes looked to die for Thomas and Sheena 😍
So glad you’re enjoying these ones. They were so neat to film. Thanks very much for watching. 1 more to come in the 5 part series. Cheers, Thomas
Glad to see you enjoying the market food! That tuna looked amazing. Seared on the outside, raw on the inside is the perfect way to enjoy tuna. What was the coconut sauce made from? Coconut milk alone, or did it have citrus juice in it?
It was such a fun market to explore MsKestrela! I believe it was just coconut milk alone 🤔 Very tasty no matter what it was 😝 Thanks for watching this one 😄
Yummy food. I have never seen such big tuna! And the baby donuts look like what we call donut holes. My favorite was the pineapple pie.
Thanks for watching mate. It was a cool day. The bbq fish place was so cool and the rest of the food was great. Thanks again. Thomas
love Raro
