Absolutely wonderful duet! Both women are amazing singers and blend so well. The Simon Garfunkel medley is a delight to hear. Is there anything that could be done to improve both the picture and sound quality? I noticed that some old videos on KZread have been improved significantly, and this is one that I definitely feel could use an "upgrade."

I love how Cass tailors her technique to match Julie's. She is enunciating more than usual, spacing a little more between words, and altering her vowels ever so slightly. She's the reason this duet sounds so good.

Anne was 9 years older than my dad, and 16 years older than my mom; I was 9 years old when she died. I know her pain. I've lived with depression all my life. I didn't have a choice in my birth, but the one choice I do have is to not procreate. I've never fathered a child. And I never will. I can't bear to impose such a life on anyone. My DNA stops with me. Writing poetry is good therapy. As is my job. For 40 years I've worked in the funeral industry, as a removal specialist. One way to quell the thoughts of suicide is to walk with the dead daily. Well, it works for me.

Clicked on this wondering how it would play out between Julie's rather precious soprano and Cass's belter of a voice. But in Fact Cass was always a very generous backing singer as you can hear also with her lovely duet with John Denver. She matches her voice to the occasion. Shame she spent so much time in support roles as she had such a tremendous voice as a soloist.

Judy had an extremely high IQ. She was called before the HUAC, where she put on her “dumb blonde” persona - meaning too silly, thick-headed, & clueless to inform on anyone. The HUAC bought her act and she walked away without bringing trouble down on herself or any of her showbiz friends! Takes a very brave, very smart person to do that! As far as I’m aware she was the only person to get away with such a thing. Judy is my favorite old-timey actress. Breaks my heart she died so young, though I’m grateful we’ll always have her films! 🥲🧡

So-called "Judy Holliday"wasn't even her real name. She was born Judith Tuvim. Anyone that sells-out their heritage by changing their birth name for "Hollywood" and for proposed better recognition & money is deceitful & disrespectful to their parents.
