Hi my name is Bob and I will be repairing item that I buy to either sale or keep. The items may be as small as a rusted wrench to as large as a truck or a car. I will showing you how I do repairs and I will be giving tips that I have pick up along the way. I hope to also learn some new trick from you. I may also do a house renovation

Heat usually breaks it.
Awesome 👌
Been all over town trying to find a specialized tool to remove my brake drums after trying the hammer and blowtorch method and couldnt find a single tool in town that would fit. Could literally kiss your forehead rn
Thanks for the complete story and the fix!
your time saved me time, Thank You
Do you know the replacement part number? I need to replace mine.
Great job
Good video I enjoyed watching it from the UK 👍🏻
I've got an 86 ezgo 36v that I've been running for a couple of years with 3 pairs of 12v car batteries.... That's 3 parallel sets in series. It works great. I use whatever free or cheap batteries I can scrounge up. The RANGE is about 6 to ten miles vs about 20-25 but around the house or to the nearby stores it's plenty.
Eye protection!!
Just got a utility trailer that I’m wanting to use to move tools for work. How has this held up over the last couple of years?
Nice design! Looks nice and sturdy. My trailer has some worthless stake pockets along the lower frame rail in 2 places on each side. They are worthless because, there are only 2 on each side and the top rail is in the way of side posts. I don't want to remove any metal from the top rail because, I'm sure that would weaken the frame. Maybe not much, but I don't like the idea of taking that chance.
That tube u r talking about is ur wiring protection
If you cant use this set up you can just pull the axle and the drum as one part
I'd like to see the rebuild thanks
Thanks, nice job. How do you like that foam? Too soft or too firm?
It's good
The melex is a 85, 252 . I have one with a lift on it. I can send you pics. I redone everything but I don't know about the wiring.
All I need to complete my restoration of my 1985 Melex is the proper wiring diagram or even a photo of where the wires go! Got ahead of myself when removing the wires and not writing the diagram down! Rookie Mistake, can you please help?
Amazing job man 👏👏👏
Turned out nice!
that was helpful, thank you!
Yes please do the restoration video. Your video of testing the motor was the best and easiest method of testing versus everything else that I have found here on KZread.
Exactly what I needed! Trying to troubleshoot a 36v par car with good batteries. Hoping the motor works too and I can start looking elsewherewhere. Thank you!
Hello. Wat is the model number, and serijal numer on this motor? Thx
Ty for the paper work helped out alot

I tried this but my golf cart only went in reverse.its a yamaha not sure how old.
Same connections if motor used F1 and F2 instead of S1 and S2?
Hello, I believe your motor is a shunt wound so these connections will not work. if you look up testing golf cart shunt wound on KZread it will pull up some good videos.
Are you filming at Talladega? I'm gonna come after you like a spider monkey!
What size carriage bolts did you used?
I used 1/4" but I would probably use 3/8" if I did it over.
Looks really good 👍
How would you test reverse?
Briggs opposed twin 👍
Looks amazing nice work thanks for sharing.
Merci, super explication, cela m'a bien aidé!
You are the best. I bought the same golf cart from the melex brand and thanks to your video I was able to test the motor without having to buy the batteries, thank you very much
Thank you BC, I need to test an EZ Go motor and this is just what I was looking for 👍
Yes, I would like to see the complete restoration. Great video.
I need help Bob! I purchased a used melex 512e and the forward/reverse switch was burned up. I have a replacement but can't tell which wires go where. can you pls send pics of the pot box and f/r switch wiring?
Very good and simple video. Thank you.
Just what I needed. Thank you
Would like to see the rest of the rebuild.
thanks share this video.
Looks like i picked up the same model.batteries are same placement and wiring. I used your diagram and was aple to prove the motor was good. I'm hoping you can send a pic of the solenoid and controller wiring set up. Thanks for the videos they've been a great help.
Good video! Thanks Phillip Hall
Good video to the point!
Thanks
I am pretty sure it does not matter which the plus or negative is attached to the motor will run the same direction.
How much does it weigh after the addition? My axles support 3500 pounds I think. I have been thinking of doing the same thing.
I have figured around 500 pounds.
What are you using as the jumper box? I need to do this with a 36v 1999 ezgo txt. Thanks!
I used a Harbor Freight portable jump box with a on and off switch.
@@projectswithbc6998 any chance you can send me a link to the one you got?
