Interesting point! Since the X chromosome is larger than the Y chromosome, if you are XY then you have more DNA from your mom

Reminds me of the tired look trend on tiktok. People were making their eyes look tired by using make up while people like me who have insomnia for a multitude of medical reasons get that look naturally. It baffles me that these ppl are like this.

Different species react different to the presence of oxytocin. In women, in particular, oxytocin is the pair bonding hormone. The more partners the less bonding, for both, men and women, however, it affects women to a higher degree.

wise up, there is no safe level of alcohol. Once ingested alcohol takes it toll on every cell in the body marking any cell it comes into contact with for recycling or destruction during the autophagy stage of metabolic downtime during sleep. It truly is one toxin that has a quicky noticeable effect on aging and appearance of the skin and internal orgains.

you know, this reminds me of the status quo opinion we have of ageing think about it, like TB, it’s been with us for a while (obviously when life expectancies rose) and since it wasn’t anything we could do about - we created narratives like “death gives life meaning” or “death is a blessing in disguise” or “life is short, make the most of it” all of these coping mechanisms against trying to solve a problem that is the top killer in the world we are only beginning to understand the process of ageing and there are several promising interventions i.e. metformin, rapamycin, cellular reprogramming etc. i wonder if and when we will see the whole narrative of ageing, like TB shift towards doing something about it and doing away with sour grape fallacies
