  I like this style of drawing. Great draw👍 I’m a painter and also y love to draw with charcoal, y was looking some inspiration to start a serie of horse drawings and paintings, and this is what I was looking for. Greetings from Argentina!

  Can I please ask what you are using for the initial horse drawing. I notice that it doesn’t move or effected when water is applied. Thank you.

  It's a black chalk that it's much harder and greasy than other black pencil/charcoal. But it does effect on it, depends on how you trace the lines more or less harder on the surface and it depends on the surface itself. Do your tests to try what is best for you. ☺

  Beautiful art. I recently purchased Nitram aquarelle watercolor and love using it for the darkest darks in my watercolor paintings. Thank you for the demonstrating how to use it.

  I drew in my journal....it is not as pretty as yours! however, I had fun and used dark and light sepia oil pencils and inks with my fan brush (I do not use it much) plus I used my black ink and drew with my caligraphy pen. I certainly need to practice! Keep making videos!

  I almost never do ink drawings without a pencil drawing first, so I admire the "only ink" effort. As to hatching and cross hatching - I need a lot more practice. Even when I try to emulate other artists that do hatching and cross hatching well, I don't always produce a good result. I'm pretty sure it's something that only takes many, many hours to become proficient in.

  You know what? I don't do pencil drawing first because I'm lazy… So I always used to draw directly with ink! Best training ever! About the etchings, I like them not regular and too well done. So I feel I do them quite freely!
