  Just wanna ask, if the ambient temp inside the freezer is 10*F does that mean I have to increase the pressure to 32.6PSi (using the formula Box Temp-TD) where TD is -10*F, therefore 10*-10*=0*. thank you

  Hey man , shouldn’t your sat temp be -20, or some say -10 if it’s for a freezer because you want to maintain 0F, I get coolers confused too?

  Question please!! You said : bypass the PS to see if the solenoid open. It supposed to be closed so we can get 0 PSI is the low side, meaning that the solenoid is not fully closing ? I’m missing something, please explain

  not very old machine for that much copper plating showing. usually the Reason is --- Someone running too much ice machine cleaner through the machine for too long , too often. not following recommended amount & time. also possibly using non-nickel safe cleaner or acidic cleaners. Never seen one Get that bad that fast. Some one broke some rules ! been doing this 43 years.

  this video was such an awesome learning experience for me. Had a few of these units that I could never get dialed in just by charging correctly.But now that I know how to dial in the TXVs I can do a way better job next time.
