Wonderful video. One question do you knit on the back loop of stitch when working on flap? I use American knitting style not continental. Thanks

Great video although I find the European way of knitting a bit confusing. It would be helpful to have the instructions written to follow while knitting. Thanks for a super video on how to add the flaps after the fact.

Thank you so much. I have been making hats for my dogs and not one pattern had instructions for the ear flaps. This has been extremely helpful for me. Happy knitting

Thank you so much for this! For some reason, I thought it would be much more difficult to add ear flaps, like it was some kind of very advanced technique 😅 you explained it so clearly that I now feel really confident that I can do it, and for a new knitter that's really important! Thank you, and merry Christmas 😊

Polly, you saved my project. I had knitted my great grandson a hat and it called for ear flaps. I just could not follow the directions. Tried over and over. Went to You Tube and found you. Thank you so much. The calculations for placement was so clear and I understood it. Applied it to my pattern and knitted along with you. Project completed and it turned out perfect. Than you so much.

@pollycrochetknitting21803 жыл бұрын
Hello, I've calculated how much yarn one can need for a baby blanket and in the description for the video You can find this information: The yarn I used for my tutorial: www.iceyarns.com/git/701/en/ba... With 1 pack of this yarn (400 gr) and a hook 6 mm you can crochet a blanket sized approx. 70 x 90 cm.

Why you don’t knit instead of pearl on the brim to fold it correctly ?
@pollycrochetknitting21803 жыл бұрын
If you mean why I don't change the pearl stitches for knit stitches on the brim - it's because I've knit different hats and I don't see any differense.
@gosiakr85723 жыл бұрын
@@pollycrochetknitting2180 the difference is that you don’t need to turn over wrong side to right side and turning your knitting over because you are going to be already on right side of knitting.
