Thanks for the great info. Just bought two non-functioning reefer containers for workshops. So... how to remove the reefer wall unit if you want a pass-thru, or just to get some real-estate back?

Now just utilize a safe vault door locking mechanism for the double doors and that would be great security mod😊

Any idea how to insulate against heat as I want to use mine as a dog house at night. We can't get planning for brick building living in very rural Spain.

Hey, has anyone ever spray foamed under your container? If only 6” off ground, would that not help insulate and prevent pest?

What do you think about using minimum expansion sealing foam, like Great Stuff, for sealing around the outside of the metal frame insert adapter thingamajig?

I understand you saying use Spray Foam insulation for use in the USA and Canada due to the cold climates, but would you still suggest this in the South Pacific or Australia where the weather doesn't get as cold. Would insulation bats be adequate? Spray Foam insulation may not be available in the South Pacific where we are going.

I’m in central Florida so it’s very hot and humid in the summer time. Would a mini split ac be enough ventilation and dehumidification without other vents be enough to avoid mold? Trying to avoid any unnecessary wholes. I’m doing steel studs with closed cell insulation. Thanks

Instead of these beams, concrete can and should be used. Concrete walls, a concrete foundation, and a huge reinforced concrete poured slab on the roof. Steel does not make sense in walls and fields, it is expensive, steel accumulates radiation, steel shelters will fry you from all sides.. Concrete is a little weaker, but it is cheaper than steel. You can fill it with sooo much.
