  Regards to Matthew 20:22* if you read on, the mother says they are able to drink of the cup and be baptized with the same water. However Jesus does say that as far as the seating goes, it’s up to God.

  Please help me. I"m searching for whether or not i can continue getting tattoos. i know it says not to in Leviticus but some people are saying they are ceremonial laws that are done away with. I've recently been saved in August. Are tattoos graven images? I don't worship my tattoos. If tattoos are a sin then isn't tombstones also graven images? Jewelry? Help me please?? Isn't pictures of Jesus a sin? I'm so confused.

  I would say don't get it. There are many videos you can watch on tattoos. Just ask God what he thinks about you getting a tattoo.

You can’t be warm in your faith;you either be cold or hot in your faith. Proverb 18:24 A friend to all is a friend to none Revelation 3:15-16 “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. -if you read the whole chapter in revelation, it said he hates people who are in warm faith. Where they believe in God and also do the things that he hates.

  I struggle with this understanding. If this is only about persistence in prayer, and we apply the (unique in the NT) word for "shamelessness" to the knocking/praying person - we are only left to imagine God as the rude, lazy, grumpy, impolite, grudging friend asleep; unwilling to help us unless we keep pestering Him. That is not how Jesus described the Father. The use of the original Greek in the OT, and in the 1st Century literature outside the Bible, is not simply persistent or bold. It describes people who are wicked, corrupt. immoral, self-centred (and shameless about that behaviour.)
