  Thanks for the sharing Daren. I have two questions for you: (1) Are you getting any stain or coloring on your white interior? Is it prone to catching color from jeans etc? (2) Do you find the glass roof letting in too much heat in SG/MY weather? Ie would it be too hot? Are you considering any accessories or film to solve it?

  These people dont watch Daren's youtube video. For those who watch his videos, its obvious he is a fanboy of the certain brand and him asking this question obviously means he is looking for a certain answer If last year top selling car was a Toyota corolla/<insert any other usual makes and model>, this video wont exist

  I find range between "city" and "highway" a bit strange. I have new Model 3 SR. If I drive city + a bit of country side I can easly get beweetn 500-600km or range. Highway is about right, around 450km. Could it be that due to much hotter weather in Singapore (compared to Europe) you range is dropping due to AC? But should not be that much.

  As you know, the 2024 Model 3 cars get 98% UV protection glass all the way around the car from the factory. All the glass, standard. The 3M film should not be sold as UV protection for a car that already has 98% protection built-in. What the 3M film DOES provide is a reduction in sunlight heat transfer through the glass and light. That’s why people would buy the 3M film tint. If they’re doing it for UV protection, they’re wasting their money.

  This RWD model is sold in the US for SGD55,000 (including destination & order fees). I can’t believe how much more you have to pay in Singapore. I just ordered a Model 3 Performance with FSD (SGD$10,900 add-on) bringing my total to SGD$87,800 (including destination & order fees). Sweet car you’ve got there, enjoy!

  Having spent time as a driver and passenger in Teslas (3 and Y), I find their seats far too firm and uncomfortable, especially the lumbur support. The Ioniq 5 I had was much more comfortable and had many more practical features such as auto air recirc when cleaning windscreen vs more toy like features in Tesla like driving games etc. Ultimately, right now, depreciation levels and lack of infrastructure means that hybrid or a new efficient ICE still makes more sense especiallly if you're doing anything more than a day trip to JB from Singapore.

  I believe Tesla Superchargers will soon be widespread in Malaysia. It could be a good idea to get a Tesla, though I admit I’m biased.
