If you’re going to say that you either have not listened to enough of his music or you also think SRV totally ripped off Albert King, and Hendrix ripped off Buddy Guy but that’s just bs too. Mayer’s style and habits are totally different than SRV and Clapton, I literally see it all the times when I’m listening and playing their stuff, if you don’t then idk what you are doing on guitar?!

I think friends lovers or nothing is a more accomplished song in terms of hooks and melody and overall I think this song doesn’t rly have a hook. It’s just aimless singing so I’m happy this turned into the anything other than yes is no part cause that is soooo catchy
