Best smelling…1 Ceramic Gloss 2 Gold Standard 3 Incredible Suds 4 Waterspot Remover 5 Tie Quick Beads/Rinseless Wash
Witch brand is the towel your using ?
How much UV protection would ceramic gloss provide when compared to quick beads?
When will you have more rotary and Pro DA for sale again?
In 6 weeks
@@diydetailofficial ok thank you 🙏🏾
Ive used the foam, rinse, wash method and there is usually still a noticeable layer of contaminants on my paint. Is there something else I should be doing?
In that case you will need to use our Perforated Synthetic Decontamination Towel . Decontamination should be performed periodically.
The most logical master detailer in modern age!
Thank you, but not a master , very much a student.
I love your videos guys, always "fresh", high-quality, fast and effective ways to make a car shiny and clean, thanks for the experience
Thanks for watching!
Can the 3-year coating be used on glass and plastics as well?
Yes
rinseless + sponge. Rinseless lifts the dirt. Sponge absorbs the lifted dirt, and when you squeeze, it flushes it out. In comparison, other mitts don’t really do the same. Like when you wring a towel, the outside layer might push it out, but the dirt on the inside layer is compressed.
Correct, the sponge releases everything
Best way to clean it? Should I soak it and hand wash in a bucket of rinseless? Is it okay to hit it with a pressure washer to get contaminants out of towel?
No need for the Pressure Washer. Dunk in wash bucket, rinse in water, allow to dry.
So for most paint surfaces, a regular type/medium polish then it's really all about the pad?
Not all polishes are pad dependent, or can be adapted
Hi, I really want to try Diy detail 3 year ceramic coating to see how it holds up in Norway in the winter as we have to use a lot of petroleum based degreasing to get rid of all the traffic salt film in the winter. Haven't tried Waterspot Remover on salt yet instead of petroleum based degreasing Is there any possibility to buy online to send to Europe?
We have several distributors in the EU Https://diydetail.com/pages/distributors
Ready
Thank you.
Just wondering guys, will decontamination towel scratch or mar the paint in any way?
Not the DIY Detail Perforated Synthetic Decontamination Towel when used as we instruct.
So a little tip for older vehicles with distributors...we used to pressure wash the engine bays back in the early 90's. We would normally try to cover the alternator and distributor with a plastic bag if possible, but that wasnt always the case. If, by chance, water got into the distributor cap, the car wouldn't start. It would turn over, but just not fire off. When that happened, we would pop the distributor cap off, and coat the inside of the cap with WD-40 and wipe it out some. it displaces water and is non-conductive, so you can just put the cap back on and start the car like normal.
Excellent tip.
Can I use the jewelling pad on my D/A?
Yes
Humberto isnt first!
😜😜😜of course not I have to sleep too😜😜😜
It happens once or twice a year.
Is the Ratio different for the rinseless wash to be a drying aid?
No , we only have one dilution ratio for all uses.
Absolutely! After working at Boeing and dealing with organic solvents, chemicals that will literally dissolve the fat in your body, I use gloves with d*mn near EVERYTHING detailing!
Great suggestion
I used Gold Standard + Gold Waffle Pad to work out some light-medium defects on my new-used polar white MB GLC43. It’s one of the best combos I’ve used and while I wasn’t going for perfection, it did a pretty damn good job reviving the clarity and that’s all I wanted for my daily driven car.
Thank you.
Why do you sometimes use app after polishing and most of the times don’t?
We show different methods and techniques.
Fun video. Was this to show how a "quick" detail can actually be done with the wool pad alone? I ask because you often speak of your yellow waffle pad as the pad to have if there was just one in our quiver. Given the relative newness of the paint of this car, wondering why you didn't go after it with your yellow pad only since it both cuts and gives gloss.. was it just the time savings of the wool pad? Finally, when will you have your legacy sponge back in stock? Thanks.
Time Savings, plus we like to show different ways of achieving the goal. We are impatiently waiting on Lake Country to make the Legacy sponge, they can’t keep up. Many of our distributors still have inventory Https://diydetail.com/pages/distributors
How many full car clay bars would you say one towel has? (Small sedan sized car)
If well maintained, 100’s
Is there a new formula coming out.If so will Australia get it
Yes, it generally takes 2-3 months to cross the ocean and customs
@diydetailofficial Do you know when the new formula comes out and roughly when Australia will get it. I wanna get more Diy products as im getting low. Also is there gonna be a new formula on ceramic gloss. I love your products and videos. It made me a better at dealing my car and motorcycles. Keep the good work up
@metrock_409 probably in 2 months here, so 5 in Australia. Thanks for your support
Rinseless is still better than drive thru carwash
Agreed
Can you use a waffle pad on more than one vehicle after polishing the whole vehicle? I polished some of the Black trim on a vehicle and even after cleaning it with rinseless wash, It still was very dark in color. Mainly wanting to know if I can reuse that pad to polish another vehicle?
Yes, that’s fine, it’s just stained from the trim on the oxidation.
Great, thanks for the reply!
Where can I buy those wash buckets? Thanks
From a restaurant supply
@@diydetailofficialcan you provide a link? Thanks
You realize it rains on earth 😂 more product to sell and they keep buying it. I thought rinseless wash was the answer.
Rain shouldn’t cause waterspots normally
can you guys do a video (or have a video) on the best way to remove polish / wax residue that gets onto the black plastic cladding that typically shows up the next day in a whiteish look that's a PIA to get off typically.. I've used dawn and a tooth brush and pencil erasers that seems to work best for me so far , there has to be something better!! of course us peasants can tape it but even still if we end up with a spot...
The best is to use DIY Detail Gold Standard Polish with our gold foam pad. It deep cleans, and leaves nothing behind.
Hey, I have an idea: let’s use a rinseless wash, then rinse it off
Rinse less isn’t waterless, and in this situation it was the best choice
Is all clean in the spray botltle already diluted?
Woops they say in the vid... IT IS
Yes
If we only have a rotary, how would you change your methods to do this?
Gold Standard foam pad
Need to do this to my Black '01 Mustang Bullitt. Has 29k miles but the paint looks very "hazed" and definitely swirly, yet still insane gloss lol. Wanna revive it later this year🤟.
Excellent, please share your results in our facebook group
I like the waterless wash 🧽 and love the smell! I use it in-between washes or for the occasional bird droppings. Also works great as a glass cleaner! I actually did a maintenance wash on my car that is ceramic coated with the 3 year DIY coating and used cream gloss as a drying aid! OMG it is so slick and smells so good! I am a person that loves when my car smells clean 🧼 Great job guys keep up the good work! 👏✨💦
Thank you.
Best smell so far is the tire shine , just fabulous !!
Thank you.
Jeez you guys blew up! I remember subbing at like not even 5k I believe. How long ago was that? I think it was only a few months ago if I remember correctly.
About October 2022
Great video guys and love your clear buckets. I have a rather deep scratch on one of my rear gloss fender wells i need to tackle one day. Your videos are very helpful
Thank you.
Yvan how much do you want for your cart lol
You can build it yourself
If I clean my car with rinseless and I want to do my wife's next, would I be able to use the same bucket of rinseless or should I use a fresh bucket of rinseless?
Yes you can.
Could u give a run down of how to use your products to best protect a camper/rv? Fiberglass exterior. Ty. Joe
Exactly the same as any car
Do i need to say this again? Great video as always. Enjoy this stuff
Thsnks
Come on man. Another video and you start with a newer car that has excellent paint, and has been recently been detailed by the dealership. All you had to do was remove the Dust
Paint always looks better on video
Will the gold standard polish and yellow pad work on older headlights?
Yes
Is it necessary to pressure wash before using rinseless?
Apply DIY Detail Rinse Less Wash with a sprayer, allow to dwell, rinse ( hose or PW) then do contact wash.
Does the clay towel process cause more marring and/or swirls? Thanks and great video!
None of you follow or methods
Meaning?
If you use our Perforated Synthetic Decontamination Towel and proper lubrication
Hey guys, something that I’ve noticed watching yawls videos over the last three weeks is that all y’all‘s videos you never mention, please like, share, and subscribe. it helps us build the channel and spread the word of DIY detail and also C6 Hydro and diamond ceramic coatings. ❤
Thanks, yes we do mention it on occasion, but discreetly
Tried a rinseless sponge and it left dirty water beads on my car. Is that normal?
Yes
I was hoping the sponge would absorb the dirty water when using rinseless wash. Do you just dry the dirty water with a drying towel?
Yes
Great video guys big difference 💪🏼💪🏼👍🏼👍🏼 need to do the same. My new vehicle has somewhat the same.
Thanks 👍
Have you tried the straight hose with a keg instead of the coiled version?
No, it’s what it came with
What do you do with wheels and tires when using rinse-less washes ?
Spray on DIY Detail Rinse Less Wash, and Wash, or Wash as you normally do the wheels. Rinse less isn’t waterless
