We DO NOT get saved (go to heaven), get right with God, forgiven, by being good, by being religious, by just believing in God, by praying a prayer, being baptized, asking or accepting Jesus into our hearts, accepting Jesus as our personal Saviour, confessing our sins, joining a church, cleaning up our lives, doing penance, taking the bread and the wine, or doing all these things accumulative. Salvation is a gift that is given to those who repent and come to faith. Eph. 2:8,9 Salvation takes repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Acts 20:21. testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. Make no mistake. We cannot be a friend of Christ and remain a rebel against God and unless we repent we remain a rebel. The word repent, from the Greek word “metanoia”, means a change of mind or direction. God is not receiving those who almost or kind of repents. It is like the word About-face which is a 180 degree turn. We turn from not wanting God fully in our lives to willfully surrendering to Him to lead our lives. When any person comes to the place where they are broken over their sin toward God to the point that they want to get right with God no matter what it will cost them they are in a state/spirit of repentance toward God. Luke 14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple. The repentant heart would walk away from anything or any one to get right with God. We then take that willing repentant heart we have towards God and place it on the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Master, because He paid the price for our sin, and that becomes faith. At that moment God’s grace through Christ is freely applied to us and we are born again, saved from eternal hell and sealed by the Spirit so that we will never again return to the practice of sinning. 1John 3:9,10. Our first command after salvation is to be baptized. Repentance of sin is the result of the new birth/salvation and will be part of the sanctification process and our new life with the Lord Jesus Christ, Eph 2:10. While we may sin from time to time after salvation it will never again be our practice 2Cor. 5:17, 1John 3:9,10. Faith in the Jewish mind requires action. It's not simply believing something is, making faith a state of mind, it's doing or acting on belief. I think that is exactly what James was pointing out. So when Jesus said do this, or don't do that, our faith should make us act on his words. It has nothing to do with works based salvation like many people claim.

One of the reasons I love reading the Bible and listening to Bible Studies is finding, seeing and understanding concepts ihave read before. Ahab"s desire for someone else's property shows he is untruthful and/or self deceived. Who in their right mind would exchange a piece of property of higher value for one they want claiming/implying its of lesser value? I don't care what bait and switch they are operating in. It's like a Believer trading in ther eternal life for the things of this world

I have no desire to give up my love of the nakedness of women and revealing women's clothing and swimwear in place of modest clothing. I stopped looking at pornography and lascivious photographs, but my heart still loves these things and I have no desire to hate it. I am like that rich young man who did not want to sell riches when told to do so by Jesus. I also have no desire to believe that the marriage to Jesus, the fellowship of everyone, and the eternal pleasures of His right are better than the erotic activity between a husband and wife. God warned us of the natural progression: James 1:15 "Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death." The final step is the judgment of God. It doesn't always come quickly, but it always comes surely. The time to stop this progression, for those living, is now. The path to victory is by seeking after the things of God with all our might. The stakes for each of us are very high.

You cannot have too much genuine grace. But you can, and many people do, have too much pseudo-grace, cheap grace, and sin-loving grace, which is not grace at all. "Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not!" (the words of Paul, the foremost preacher of grace)

Then look at the cross, look at My Heart that was pierced for you. Have you not understood My cross? Then listen again to the words I spoke there - for they tell you clearly why I endured all this for you. Yes, I thirst for you. All your life I have been looking for your love - I have never stopped seeking to love you and be loved by you. You have tried many other things in your search for happiness; why not try opening your heart to Me, right now, more than you ever have before. Whenever you do open the door of your heart, whenever you come close enough, you will hear Me say to you again and again, not in mere human words but in spirit. "No matter what you have done, I love you for your own sake Come to Me with your misery and your sins, with your troubles and needs, and with all your longing to be loved. I stand at the door of your heart and knock. Open to Me, for I THIRST FOR YOU…"

God warned us of the natural progression: James 1:15 "Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death." The final step is the judgment of God. It doesn't always come quickly, but it always comes surely. The time to stop this progression, for those living, is now. The path to victory is by seeking after the things of God with all our might. The stakes for each of us are very high.
Not all of these so-called pastors are of God. Many are false teachers and prophets.

Can a person have too much grace? Most people say not for themselves. But it’s “dangerous” for other people to have too much grace!!
You cannot have too much genuine grace. But you can, and many people do, have too much pseudo-grace, cheap grace, and sin-loving grace, which is not grace at all. "Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not!" (the words of Paul, the foremost preacher of grace)
