Hi Heather, hope it was a nice tramp. Could you give me a bit more details such as, how long did it take?, where was the starting point ( I am guessing it was Waiohine gorge road end) was it steep? How old are the kids ( I have a 7 year old), how may km was it etc, pls. Thanks in advance :-)

Cool video! I just have a question. Why did you pitch the tent at cow creek when there is a perfectly good hut there? No tickets? Nice video tho :)

Robert Gibson Hi Robert, the very small hut was full and I prefer the inside of a tent to the huts :) and it's such a gorgeous spot next to the river. We carry hut passes in case we need to use the huts in terrible weather. Usually we wouldn't stay so close to a hut but we couldn't pass up on this site.
