Night 1 was very flat up until the last 2 matches. It wasn’t awful, but was a really slow start to the event. Night 2 was incredible. A little bit hokey, bonkers fun and even though the main event returns didn’t 100% make sense, it was still so fun to watch. Up there with the greats for sure, wouldn’t rank it number 1 though.

AEW owes a lot of its existence to Vince's godawful product in the 2010's, particularly 2018-2019. Not saying AEW didn't rise up to the occasion and provide us with an actual alternative, but their quick rise to prominence was absolutely helped by WWE ruining its own product and pushing fans away. It's a good thing they were so well-established as a publicly-traded company because, wrestling wise, they should have returned to high school gyms and local civic centers.

My hot take is that NXT was the pinnacle of Adam Cole's career, and during the global low point for wrestling that was 2019-2020, his NXT Championship run was one of the few things that was genuinely enjoyable every week. At that time we had the godawful Rollins/Fiend feud, IMPACT was...being IMPACT, AEW was still trying to find itself and for some reason NJPW had decided to make EVIL a main eventer, but down on NXT? Adam Cole was cooking with fire every damn week.

Legend Killer was far better than the later psychopath character. Made more sents with Randy Ortons good looks, cockiness, and the fact he was a generational superstar. It just made sense. He was the dude you loved to hate, then i thought he was cool after getting betrayed by Evolution. Randy Orton couldve been a Hollywood Hogan Ric Flair Vince McMahon level heel. Instead he was a shittier Jake the Snake

To me, Main Event of Night 1 was Rocky getting his ass beat in the first round against Ivan Drago, and Main Event of Night 2 is when Rocky turned the tide in the fight against Drago. That's what I can describe WrestleMania XL.

Wwe Smackdown live 2016 was the best show ever I would always watch Smackdown more than raw just because Smackdown had guys like John cena aj styles randy orton bray Wyatt dean Ambrose dolph ziggler the miz would love to go back in time and relive it again Wwe 2016 was the best 💯

Vince almost lost his most lucrative all time star becuase he stupidly stripped his gimmic and didn't let him make a new one. Think about how many other wrestlers who got sapped creatively by the company and then just dumped.

Considering how god awful 2019 was for wwe, I thought it was actually pretty good, especially when Roman returned and started his new character. Roman and Drew as champions for the pandemic were perfect, Bayley vs Sasha was a good feud. There was some good stuff.

It would be crazy if Roman actually got COVID, but Roman's body is immunocompromised due to his luekemia, and Roman showed up the very next Friday looking 100% healthy, which is why I think Roman was NEVER positive for COVID-19, but rather Vince McMahon having one of his regular last-minute-booking decisions. Vince realized in his own mind, and properly also with guidance from Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman, that it would not be smart to have Roman Reigns LOSE the Universal Championship in a B-level PLE, only to win it back at Wrestlemania, ending an around 500-day title reign. And since Vince has done nothing other than push Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns to the main event scene, squashing everybody else, it wouldn't make sense to not have Roman vs Brock for one final time at Wrestlemania to unify both titles.

That spot that Logan and Ricochet did was not an original "Never seen before move" like this guy wants you to think. Just like a few days prior to the event, there was a match if forgot in which promotion, where that same exact spot was done. And knowing Logan he stole that spot to steal the hype of it.

And the thing is even with Roman's positive covid test, you could have had the rumble go the same with Lashley winning the title and then Seth could have won the chamber. Seth vs Lashley night 1 and Brock vs. Roman night 2.
