For pure platinum , u can exchange Hunter seals gotten from boss scrolls (relic/pilafe etc) and exc for Bares weapon and heat em up for Pure Platinum, 1 weapon has 30% chance to give 1 PPC , so each Hunter seal effectively give 0.06 PPC

Thoughtful method! I would recommend putting your region in the title though since for NA they're currently 2.1m-ish per. At that point I'm not sure if it's still worth.

With a cost of 2.1m silver it would be 7B for 15x T9 Attempts (Pure Forest Breath) compared to the 7.3B (Normal Attempts with Crons). As soon as Pure Forest Breath hits the 2.3m mark, they are evened out and above 2.3m it is more expensive to do it with the Pure Forest Breath Method. I hope this helped, will pin it :)

One thing that I like is that I can log out in the middle of a loot scroll, and go back later to finish the time off. Some days I can grind for 4 to 6 hours (not often), others I log in and I'm just there for 20 or 30 minutes. I burned out doing the all day grind thing with in the first 8 months.

Yes I truly do. I let my accounts get nuked back in 2021 during the transfer and haven't regretted it at all. BDO is what all Korean MMOs are, Communism Simulators. You spend 95% of your time doing millions of tasks of miniscule importance in the hopes that the powers that be reward you at a 0.000001% rate. The economy is ridiculously restricted, nothing about BDO is fun once you see what it is.

saw this on my featured nah i hate the game, straight up. its boring as hell, and now they're banning people who open pvp? Straight delusional nonsense these devs are cooking up. I don't like gimpy stacked fusterclucks, and I don't know "war/siege" gameplay, its literally just highest framerate wins, and there are too many factors that dilute enjoyment, I tried it was, pure cancer Pvp in this game is turbo dead, AOS is just a crash simulator, and there is nobody talking about it for some reason, i tried my best voicing that opinion and streamers just ignore it, so chances it will actually get acknowledged is piss low. only thing u can do in this game is just slap your own ego until someone bruises it or you'll bruise it yourself from overwork. But PVP is the only fun-ish thing in the game, and I can't stand the direction the game is going in. Make a bunch of deliberately overpowered classes, shoehorn a "rework", rinse and repeat. Now we have melee's doing screen wide aoes, that hit futher than their particle effects can even be bothered to display, ranged classes with more frontal/super armor than half the tank classes in the game, and more turbocreep dps tools with this debo garbage, so people can kid themselves that there is something to achieve still? Give me a 1v1 aos-like gamemode, and I'm happy as a bleeding clam! better yet, give me PVP exclusive gear with gear progression route so I can actually do the content I like without having to pretend a 6 second fight with a giant means something if I do it 10,000 times in an hour Extra bonus points to whoever can be bothered to pull their thumbs out of their a$$ and balance the game. Because christ this game's fragility is set to maximum, and I dont play "action combat" games so i can sit in an unstunnable state for 90% of a fight, take zero risks and kid myself that it was all "skill" when I win.

To me it seems like lots of veterans who don't really need to grind for gear anymore are in the same state of mind as you are. PvP needs work, yes. Animation Optimization needs work, yes. Overall balancing needs works, yes. And gi6, yes, it is okay to be mad about how the game changed - but at some point, if you personally don't enjoy those parts of the game anymore, I think giving constructive feedback in the BDO socials + quitting the game until changes are done might be the best option :) farewell, hope your anger will subside.

But angry... truthfully no, but BDO is in a very special list to me, of games that have 1 cool feature, and a billion bad features/practises, and somewhere, in your mind, you just wish they'd take the one thing they got right and focused on it. but meh i dont play bdo anymore either way, because the game just straight up isnt fun, i usually log in once a month and take advantage of the "welcome back" login rewards, then leave for another 30 days, hoping that if the game does decide to actually anchor itself behind a real principle, i'll have a bunch of 7 day freebies stacked up lool but thank you for the best wishes, I hope the game gives you nice things as well

Personaly for me! There is nothing wrong with the game itself. But picking the right mindset to play. Geting rid of the feeling that i waste my time if i am not grinding until eventualy i question myself what i am doing when grinding and for what.... That is the hard part :) And its probably not only me feeling that way. The games are the same but we are different...

Right?! When I was younger I used to play different games where I had the same grindy experience and I always enjoyed the grind, even if I didn't get what I grinded for. Finding joy in what you are doing is the key. And if you don't enjoy a game, you think about what part you don't enjoy and change that or just simply quit :)

If you play BDO and you have fun, then good for you, keep playing. But if you play and suffer to achive something, because you thing that later you will get more fun, then stop, there will not be fun, only more suffer.

If someone asked me if I hated BDO, I would say no. I have progressed in the game far enough that I can progress in the game without paying a cent. However, I do get tired from grinding so I take breaks whenever that happens. Unlike you though, I take breaks from BDO completely. I think this helps me love BDO even more when I come back.

Black desert mobile is better because they sure have a lot more contents like ranked arena and team coop. More Boss raid so that you get more boss loots (auto repeat). A lot better gears like purple and pink gear. But black desert online only has abbysal gears(red gears) and boss gears. In mobile, you can get more CP in other ways. And in mobile they are already 90+ levels while in Black desert online is 70+ levels in players.

Nope the game still sucks. If your argument is that its an acquired taste that you have to developed Stockholm syndrome to enjoy its a bad look. You can apply this faulty logic to other MMORPGs that are also larger and more successful. The truth is that The core gameplay loop and progression systems are at best the 5th or 6th best genre has to offer. And those other five or six titles are also objectively bad games. MMORPGs in general are held back by a lot of cost, paired with physical limitations via aiming to be run on the lowest common denominator hardware among gamers, and all between countries with varying quality infrastructure, with the USAs arguably being some of the oldest. And if that wasn't a hurdle already they are only developed as a means to make money with cheap expendable labor and a talent pool who wont reap the rewards or ever have enough control to make it a passion project. If your wondering where BDO falls on the milk it for cash vs passion project line just look at the fact that you cant inspect players, and how you are incentivize to cover your armor with cosmetics. All while trying to sell you on combat that no one would find special outside of an MMO but somehow you are supposed to want to play in an MMO with shitty internet connections spanning half the globe letting you know you are dead mere seconds after it happens.

These are the wrong points to the argument of hating Black Desert. People doesn't hate or quit BDO because of repetitiveness or no goal. Yes some people may hate the grind, but the fact that you mentioned "if you take THE RIGHT action, the game WILL reward you?" No, the game WILL NOT reward you with RNG. You are either lucky or be living hell just endlessly grinding in circle forever and never tap that pen BS that you have been countless hours of grinding just to lose all that silver down the drain. Once you reach quad pen debos wailing armors and complete t10 horses. There isn't much else to do that's meaningful. Open world pvp is dead so there isn't much reward for hitting ultra end game gear. Life skills aren't it either. There's not much fun PvE content in the game. Even for newbies there isn't any meaningful group content to do with your friends. I'll go as far as to say you will be punished more for playing with your friends. Most solo grind spots are more silver efficient than group ones. The three dungeons they have in the game became just another weekly chore due to the lack of update. BDO has the best combat in any MMO I've played and will probably stay the best combat system. But with lack of meaningful newbie to endgame content as well as their hellbent efforts on killing open world pvp. It's best to avoid or leave this game for now. Maybe wait in a few years til they figure out what kind of game they want BDO to be. 755+ GS here, I've been in the highest and the lowest point of the game. My advice to anyone who thinks of leaving the game nowadays is to leave. Go play other games, touch grass, grind irl. Check back after a few years. Maybe then, they'll have meaningful content.

I think your arguments could have been better. You point out that when you are getting tired of repeatedly doing the same grind over and over again you should switch to something else to gain progress and not get burned out. I agree with the latter of it but in order to make good progress with lifeskilling you also need to invest in it too which slows down you overall progress. For Bartering for example you want to get the big ship in order to do it efficient and with less annoying stops cause you are overweight and so on. And many ppl feeling tired because they don't see an end and it feels like a black hole for your time. Better arguments would be that now you can get an enhancement safely when you fail X amount of times you get it guaranteed. Or if you are annoyed by "duel for spot" you can go into marnis realm and grind there and not for only 1h/day anymore. And imo you could better point out the importance of taking a step down. Bdo is the game with the best graphics of all MMOs atm. And that increases with the special season decoration. So if you feeling tired then just leave your horse in the stable and walk a bit around. Enjoy the beautiy of the game which you don't see when you only grind in the same spot focussing on efficiency. Go with a high lvl char to a low lvl spot so the Mobs don't aggro and look how much details you missed when you were there grinding. Overall i would rate your video good but as i (hopefully) pointed out, you could still add some stuff too it. Keep up the good work and you have a good voice for this type of videos 👍

Thanks for your detailed opinion, I will take everything you said to heart. For what the video is about, I believe the sheer suggestion of approaching BDO in a less effective way is a difficult topic to cover. My previous video might have done it better because it had the personal authentic touch while I tried to keep this one more general and distanced to not make it sort of a 'guide'. That's why I didn't want to put too much information about How To Play the game specificly. For the editing part: How did you like the graphics in the beginning explaining the Core Gameplay Loop? But angry... truthfully no, but BDO is in a very special list to me, of games that have 1 cool feature, and a billion bad features/practises, and somewhere, in your mind, you just wish they'd take the one thing they got right and focused on it. but meh i dont play bdo anymore either way, because the game just straight up isnt fun, i usually log in once a month and take advantage of the "welcome back" login rewards, then leave for another 30 days, hoping that if the game does decide to actually anchor itself behind a real principle, i'll have a bunch of 7 day freebies stacked up lool but thank you for the best wishes, I hope the game gives you nice things as well
Personaly for me! There is nothing wrong with the game itself. But picking the right mindset to play. Geting rid of the feeling that i waste my time if i am not grinding until eventualy i question myself what i am doing when grinding and for what.... That is the hard part :) And its probably not only me feeling that way. The games are the same but we are different...
Right?! When I was younger I used to play different games where I had the same grindy experience and I always enjoyed the grind, even if I didn't get what I grinded for. Finding joy in what you are doing is the key. And if you don't enjoy a game, you think about what part you don't enjoy and change that or just simply quit :)
for me: 1. Want Better gear 2. Grinding for it 3. Start question my self why am I doing it 4. Realize getting better gear just put you into another grind spot and start the same loop 5. Stop playing it and Start playing Fall out : new Vegas because of TV show hype and start to enjoy playing game AGAIN

BDO is a stupid game. You waste ur time and money for RNG roulette, this never should be a case in mmorpg, ever. Maybe if game lose 90% of their players, then devs would actually remove RNG from it at one point in time, wouldnt that be the best thing to happen for a game?

So you hate grinding to achive new gear? Then start do other things to hate them too! This game has no future, cuz its broken in the roots. If you play BDO and you have fun, then good for you, keep playing. But if you play and suffer to achive something, because you thing that later you will get more fun, then stop, there will not be fun, only more suffer.
Hmm I do not want to discredit you in anyway as you seem like a genuine person but you can do all these things yes but for what? Its only if you really like the pvp in this game where these things matter, there are better areas to spend time for progression beyond life skills that do not really impact pve hardly at all.

playing solo is a choice nowadays with the Dehkia update to Tunkuta & Oluns. Even normal Oluns is not bad. Also got weekly dungeons to do.

If someone asked me if I hated BDO, I would say no. I have progressed in the game far enough that I can progress in the game without paying a cent. However, I do get tired from grinding so I take breaks whenever that happens. Unlike you though, I take breaks from BDO completely. I think this helps me love BDO even more when I come back.

Black desert mobile is better because they sure have a lot more contents like ranked arena and team coop. More Boss raid so that you get more boss loots (auto repeat). A lot better gears like purple and pink gear. But black desert online only has abbysal gears(red gears) and boss gears. In mobile, you can get more CP in other ways. And in mobile they are already 90+ levels while in Black desert online is 70+ levels in players.
Nope the game still sucks. If your argument is that its an acquired taste that you have to developed Stockholm syndrome to enjoy its a bad look. You can apply this faulty logic to other MMORPGs that are also larger and more successful. The truth is that The core gameplay loop and progression systems are at best the 5th or 6th best genre has to offer. And those other five or six titles are also objectively bad games. MMORPGs in general are held back by a lot of cost, paired with physical limitations via aiming to be run on the lowest common denominator hardware among gamers, and all between countries with varying quality infrastructure, with the USAs arguably being some of the oldest. And if that wasn't a hurdle already they are only developed as a means to make money with cheap expendable labor and a talent pool who wont reap the rewards or ever have enough control to make it a passion project. If your wondering where BDO falls on the milk it for cash vs passion project line just look at the fact that you cant inspect players, and how you are incentivize to cover your armor with cosmetics. All while trying to sell you on combat that no one would find special outside of an MMO but somehow you are supposed to want to play in an MMO with shitty internet connections spanning half the globe letting you know you are dead mere seconds after it happens.
RNG is the real problem, the feeling of run a marathon for nothing, you have to grind and buy or be lucky, and if what u need doesnt sell at the market, you HAVE to be lucky, this sucks, its unfair.

These are the wrong points to the argument of hating Black Desert. People doesn't hate or quit BDO because of repetitiveness or no goal. Yes some people may hate the grind, but the fact that you mentioned "if you take THE RIGHT action, the game WILL reward you?" No, the game WILL NOT reward you with RNG. You are either lucky or be living hell just endlessly grinding in circle forever and never tap that pen BS that you have been countless hours of grinding just to lose all that silver down the drain. Bad video.
Once you reach quad pen debos wailing armors and complete t10 horses. There isn't much else to do that's meaningful. Open world pvp is dead so there isn't much reward for hitting ultra end game gear. Life skills aren't it either. There's not much fun PvE content in the game. Even for newbies there isn't any meaningful group content to do with your friends. I'll go as far as to say you will be punished more for playing with your friends. Most solo grind spots are more silver efficient than group ones. The three dungeons they have in the game became just another weekly chore due to the lack of update. BDO has the best combat in any MMO I've played and will probably stay the best combat system. But with lack of meaningful newbie to endgame content as well as their hellbent efforts on killing open world pvp. It's best to avoid or leave this game for now. Maybe wait in a few years til they figure out what kind of game they want BDO to be. 755+ GS here, I've been in the highest and the lowest point of the game. My advice to anyone who thinks of leaving the game nowadays is to leave. Go play other games, touch grass, grind irl. Check back after a few years. Maybe then, they'll have meaningful content.
Other mmos like albion online and runescape did a good job on making life skill worth it but this game is doing so terrible,it feels so unrewarding and your only option is to grind to get better silver
End game pvp is ded because its unbalanced and only 0.001% of players could actually fight on even rules, there is always someone with better gear than you in that game.

I think your arguments could have been better. You point out that when you are getting tired of repeatedly doing the same grind over and over again you should switch to something else to gain progress and not get burned out. I agree with the latter of it but in order to make good progress with lifeskilling you also need to invest in it too which slows down you overall progress. For Bartering for example you want to get the big ship in order to do it efficient and with less annoying stops cause you are overweight and so on. And many ppl feeling tired because they don't see an end and it feels like a black hole for your time. Better arguments would be that now you can get an enhancement safely when you fail X amount of times you get it guaranteed. Or if you are annoyed by "duel for spot" you can go into marnis realm and grind there and not for only 1h/day anymore. And imo you could better point out the importance of taking a step down. Bdo is the game with the best graphics of all MMOs atm. And that increases with the special season decoration. So if you feeling tired then just leave your horse in the stable and walk a bit around. Enjoy the beautiy of the game which you don't see when you only grind in the same spot focussing on efficiency. Go with a high lvl char to a low lvl spot so the Mobs don't aggro and look how much details you missed when you were there grinding. Overall i would rate your video good but as i (hopefully) pointed out, you could still add some stuff too it. Keep up the good work and you have a good voice for this type of videos 👍
Thanks for your detailed opinion, I will take everything you said to heart. For what the video is about, I believe the sheer suggestion of approaching BDO in a less effective way is a difficult topic to cover. My previous video might have done it better because it had the personal authentic touch while I tried to keep this one more general and distanced to not make it sort of a 'guide'. That's why I didn't want to put too much information about How To Play the game specificly. For the editing part: How did you like the graphics in the beginning explaining the Core Gameplay Loop?
