    Carbon honey is almost a must for balisongs on steel washer. If It's dry then you are basically sanding the washer and bushing. That's why I love carbon honey, graphene is good at lubricating these areas when the pviot is little bit dry, prevent that from happening.

    @@taktyc agree, but carbon honey is overpriced in my country due to taxes: Super: ~$4/10ml Blue: $5/10ml Honey is about $14/10ml as I remember, so the price is just not match the performance of it.

    I use the Super Lube 51004 and have been very happy with it. Not so thin that you have to reapply it constantly but, not so thick that it affects play. Good stuff. Honestly, I haven't tried a whole lot of other blade lubes but, I've tried different oils and the 51004 mix of Super Lube works fantastic for me.

    I've also found Carbon Honey Thick to be a little too viscous, especially in the winter. Now I specifically save my Carbon Honey for use in the summer when it runs a little thinner from the heat. I had the same issue with KPL heavy, so I mixed it with some regular KPL to thin it out for the perfect consistency. I sometimes also use mineral oil as a food grade lube on it's own as well as a neutral mixer that has less of a chance to react with other oils (some oils have weird additives and results in precipitated solids/graininess when mixed, which looks like what's happening with the Baliplus lube).

  • @taktyc

    for £2 i can’t complain about the b+ lube but thanks for the insight it’s very useful. i wonder how CH medium would fare, perhaps it’s the best of both worlds

    I myself have never flipped, owned, and or could afford a typical CHAB. But, I am willing to purchase a clone to be a trial of sorts for the real thing. For those who have probably purchased these, which company makes Chab clones the best? With Armed Shark still not making a chab just yet, it's between The One and Baliplus. Of the two, who would you say is the king of the fake Chab?

  • @taktyc
    @taktycКүн бұрын

    if you want the best flipping experience i would say theone chab is the better flipper with its balance however it’s on zen pins which isn’t true to the original you can get the v1 here: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_Ezo8Myb which i would get in tanto unless you prefer handle bias in which case get ALT and v2 here: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EJlHibp V2 simply has more grip because of milling on the edges which isn’t true to the original either. the baliplus is in my opinion closer to the real deal and with a good tune i think can be considered a trial run for the actual ChAB, especially with the new kukri blade that’s come out i really want one of those. the newer ones have a latch option and there are older ones without the latch depending on your preference but they are essentially direct clones of the real deal you can get b+ here: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EICM6xD i would however also consider the theone AB 3.0 clone which of course is sandwich, but in my opinion flips slightly better than the ChAB and is also on tang pins which i prefer so if you’re willing to try out sandwich which offers more grip at the expense of tanky durability i would say it’s worth a shot as well AB clone: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EvZaROL

    @taktyc Thank you for the detailed response! I ended up getting the V1 TheOne Chab off of Ali Express with the trainer blade. I plan on getting the other blades individually later, but this is a nice beater that I wish to add to the collection and to give my arsenal a bit more titanium. I eagerly await when Armed Shark someday makes their own Chab adjacent variant given their track record with their previous balisongs. Once again, thanks for the advice, and have a good one.
