the Yuppie squiddy is 7075, squid industries is 6061, another reason not to buy from squid.

honestly i agree it’s kind of ridiculous how low value for the prices some of squid’s products are. 7075 and bushings for less than the price of regular squiddy is crazy

@@LuciferArc1 that could be said for like all of their balis, plastic squiddy is 50 USD, you could get any SOLID clone for that price

@@taktyc Hey, I have been thinking of getting the baliplus kraken clone but I have just been skeptical because all I hear is "Baliplus are hit or miss". If I get it, it will be my first balisong after a ccc. You gotta tell me, 1. Will I have to tune it? 2. Will I have to mess around with the extra hardware. 3. What are the tolerances out of the box? 4. Should I just get something from armed shark instead of baliplus if I don't wanna put in any effort of my own to make it better?

@@hamza-qm7xt B+ products are fine now. They changed their factory for better goods this year. 1. You can if you want to but I do think you won't have to tune it from out of the box.I would say the QC is decent, not the greatest. 2. EX bushings are little bit higher than average, You can't just plug and play. Others are perfect, especially washers has more precision than even LDY's product. 3. I have one new B+ kraken. 7.5/10 from my experience. BUT MAKE SURE you bought the new version of it, NOT FROM THE OLD STOCK. 4. If you want live blade or flase live blade chose B+. If you want trainer choose AS. ez as that. I would say they have same level of QC now. But I have to say that AS products doesn't come with extra bushings while B+ does.
