  Solved for iPhone 15, after much head scratching, I finally figured out that on newer iPhones, it has all this privacy stuff enabled on the WiFi connection in your phone for the MyQ network that it is trying to join. Go in and turn off the private WiFi and limit tracking features and then your MyQ garage will connect to your phone so it can then connect to your home WiFi. Such a hassle all these privacy things Apple enables. Once it connects, all good. Adding this here for anyone that may problem. This video walks you through the basic troubleshooting steps in the app for those not interested in clicking all the useless links myQ provides to “troubleshoot”. Good luck!

  If anyone has an iPhone 14 or later reading this.... I tried to get my phone to connect for literally hours, on 3 different days. I have done everything for wifi resets, phone resets, complete factory reset, and no matter what I tried, I could not get my iPhone 14 to work. It would not get to the point where it brought up the list of wifi networks to connect to. After much frustration I decided to try my wife's iPhone 11, downloaded the app, logged in and BOOM - it worked the first time!!! I am so relieved and had to share. Can still use the app on my iPhone 14 to open and close door but just couldnt get it set up that way.

  @@Blackhammers69 I had to unfortunately yes. Worked straight away. It only takes logging into the app on someone else’s phone and setting it up. Then the app will work on yours.

  I have to post a comment on this, sadly this is true, didn’t work on my iPhone 13 or iPhone 14… but worked setting it up on a galaxy 21+ 😐 thankfully had a family member over that was able to finish the setup.

  Notice iPhone user have a hard time.. I eventually change my router. After syncing everything - for some reason things started connecting again.

  i dont see this option...the family member is 17yrs age and still can remove from family link...it only give option to transfer...

  @@bdzihadboss2005i found the solution...once the child from his/her login accepts to "take control" then the child is automatically removed from the family link...

  If you have a contract for defective products. It's best that you not try to fix this product giving hope to the masses. Instead, try and get your money back due to the Foss hood of this product. I pay for the best Wi-Fi internet in the USA for my connection to businesses across the U.S.A. and to have this product fail puts me at a standstill and businesses DON'T wait for no one. The last two hours have been used to get this product up and running and I'm still not able to make the connection to the Bluetooth function, but my ISP has PERFORMED A TEST five times and the ISP has done a full test on my end. I have a better-than-good connection to ("MyQ App"). I have a faulty product and as you can see I have the right to be PISSED off with the use of this product which has wasted my time and I will not be paid for any of the research of this product. I will not recommend this product to anyone because I'm not a satisfied customer.

  Hello sir how to remove another gmail account from my device without deleting it or locking it just remove from my device but still can be used because i cant use google play games it keeps saying (To set up supervision for this device only one google account can be signed in to this user profile)?

  U have to delete the accounts monitored deleting family link. Otherwise, Uninstaling doesn't change restrictions
