This trommel is a HT182M which is a mobile machine that can transported on the road to the site. This photograph shows the machine operating in the UK yes.
A very contaminated feed material is no problem for the trommel, even when wet. Oversize material is sent for further processing with a jaw crusher. The rejected fines material could be rescreened to remove further material if required.
Large stones sizes are screened by the trommel and large amounts of fines are removed for further processing. The oversize is fed direct to a LT125 jaw crusher for extra processing. This trommel is a key machine in the plant layout and is fed direct with blasted material.
The design of the hopper helps to prevent bridging and blockages when the feed material is entering the barrel. This stops unwanted downtime and gives more efficient screening production.
500 tonnes per hour production to remove unwanted fines from a heavily contaminated feed material. The life of the quarry is extended and sales are made from 'waste'.

A HT182M Heavy Duty Trommel working on very highly contaminated sticky material. The trommel is producing clean material for sales and also material for further processing within the crushing plant on site. The trommel is working at 500 tph.
