It’s probably to late, but you can make storage in your water tank and put all the slim in the to keep the slim lung controlled and use a slug press to start converting it.

Aloe vera is a good plant, use it early. and the light crystals are good for use on the trees, so that they will grow and make nectar and food for the fine animals that make ethanol
its a smart way to add a way to make cold oxygen
Love this pack. It is difficult. In the regular game you have to live well around 20c. In this pack you have to save all plants and animals and cool everything down to at least -20c. It is difficult. Lots of heat/cold handling
and im pretty sure theres going to be more stuff once the dlc drops 👀
The basic yellow mustard is garbage in my opinion. Spicy, Dijon, and various other mustard have been good. I second the hot dog and sausage/brats with mustard (spicy brown mustard). The follow-up horseradish question: no, I do not like horseradish. Can tolerate it mixed into other stuff in certain doses, but do not like. The other follow-up of gateway: mine was either on lunch meat deli sandwiches or on sausage.
so just mustard by itself- no ketchup or relish. man it just sounds kind of plain. it feels like more and more people i ask who enjoy mustard tend to not enjoy horseradish

The bank I worked at actually had the big vault and door but it's not stacked with money like the movies plus a lot of banks are older buildings which tend to have the older infrastructure. the vault we had was also time locked in the morning and evening so it tended to stay open during open hours behind the employee area :)
has anyone ever got stuck inside when they closed it at night
@@2LegitCity Not to me, thankfully lol I mean the vaults inside aren't really that big. Just enough to put carts and other storage for the night so you'd be able to see if someone was there. Still made me paranoid enough when I opened in the morning though :P

Only one research receiver, it gives you a few starting research items that make the early game a bit more doable, though you unlock them through basic research as well. It also comes with a cute log entry. :) The new critters and plants are very cool. New dupe and critter temperature mechanic as well. Really makes you think differently about some aspects of the game. (and now I really *really* have to build that ice themed rec room with sauna) A practical issue I ran into is that buildings that are not made of snow/ice, start at 20C even when built from colder materials, so building planter tiles for plants that need negative temperature was a bit of a pitfall. Basically also means that you can't build anything from mercury as it'll insta-melt as soon as you build it. I hope that the devs will fix this.
im wondering if that means youre forced to build snow tiles to not run into that temperature issues- i really hope we can make snow somehow and not just rely on meteors/POI

I was super excited to hear about the drywall glitch and immediately tried to do it. Wah wah wahhhhh. That they fixed that one glitch but still allow you to pump magma with the bead method makes me think the devs consider magma pumping to be a legit strat.

this works well! only problem is that it needs to be hope to cause coal to refine- i sometimes also use algae to turn into dirt for some of the weaker geysers. its more steps but still seals
I just try this cooling system in my base but i don't know why it's leaking alway in the same area; since i use petroleum in the cooling system i know it's not water melting from somewhere... The pipes are not breaking but i have to mop petroleum and refill my loop some time (like 50 L) Do you have an idea ?
that means the automation sensor is somehow not reading correctly/placed poorly because what youre experiencing is over cooling to the point of freezing. when liquids freeze in a pipeline, they break the pipe and drop the frozen version of the liquid- and since its likely in the steam room it would melt right away. so somethings wrong with the temperature sensor- either its set too low, or not placed in the correct position, or even picking the wrong sensor type (gas pipe sensor vs liquid pipe sensor) or maybe not connected via automation wire

Mustard is good 😋 with certain items not everything. Always liked never had any issues with it. Ketchup on hotdogs is gross and offensive to many hotdog lovers. Go try a Chicago dog or a Carolina slaw dog. No mustard with my chili dog. My favorite mustard is coarse brown. Horseradish is good. Try some horsey sauce from Arby's on your roast beef with Swiss Cheese 😋 or some horseradish on a Ham steak.
theres a place by downtown la that has a famous spicy mustard and that stuff kicks my butt- i feel like i need take baby steps to enjoy it

2:00:32 That's essentially twice a dupe's Freak Out/Mental Break Loop has ended your Baator Run attempts. I would build a designated Massage Room to better manage stress and place a trap door (mechanized airlock with automation switch) right next to your food storage so you can easily rubber room binge eaters next time they freak out.
yeah i need to use the massage tables but the 240w cost and long use is making my other dupes just run all day- i need to find a balance
@@2LegitCity Technically true, but a Massage Clinic can deal with up to 80% Stress (Table[30%], Room Bonus[30%], Carpeted Tile[15%], Buddy Bud[5%]) a cycle. I would at least give dupes with more dangerous Mental Breaks (Tantrums, Food Binges, Vomiting and Banshee Wailing) their own separate schedule.

To avoid radiation vomiting on space missions without rad pills, couldn’t you put them inside a lead radiation suit, just inside the ship, instead of using normal atmo suits?

I'll definitely use this design, it's so practical that each inlet of the turbine is equivalent to a wheezewort. I was having the issue that I didn't have access to steel but I really need geothermal power due to the super sustainable archivement and I really need the power run a metal refinery.

A lot of what you said is not true, you don't need multiple storage types to harvest a single resource.

I'd prefer a solution that doesn't look extremely gamey, odd and ugly. But Klei gave us liquid locks and vacuum doors instead. Great.
Well, Space-out and base game are quite different experience and indeed future DLC should either provide a completely different take or be modular. Space-out made sens as an opposition to the base game, instead of having 1 big rock you got many smaller. I feel going full "alien" would be best, with super techny stuff like flying saucer and whatnot. Nothing much has been done on the enhancing / weakening of dups, diseases are not really dangerous and you can't buff up or make super dups by reproducing. That could definitely be something interesting. New biomes obviously, an icy one for sure but I think some more alien one would be neat. A "cluster" asteroid would be nice for space out, it would be made of floating rocks! Some QoL new building like an airlock, (eventually a 2 tiles waterlock/force field) would be nice, there are so many buildings I feel are missing. A fan to move gas around... Gardening and cooking are a bit boring atm, you can easily sustain with mealwood and the benefit of high quality food aren't important enough. More interesting specialisation could be great. One things that a new DLC should adress is the mid-game / endgame threat. Once you've setup a decent base and started exploiting geyser, the game is kind of fixed and the survival aspect is gone until you might end up lacking a specific ressource. But the midgame and endgame threat are non-existent which tbh makes the game less fun. Once the research has been made, food and oxygen are secured, then it's mostly a matter of expanding.
