    Hey. Did you figure out what the rattle was?

  • @DailyBrewGarage
    @DailyBrewGarageАй бұрын

    Yes, it was basically the entire top end. Basically zero oil pressure common on high mileage 5.4 engines. I replaced the engine with a Reman from PowerTrain about 12k miles ago and it has been perfect.

    If I remember correctly it was about $200, but that was a couple of years ago so who knows what it would cost in labor now.

    I found a factory bump on the tub floor right close to the front seat and back seat bolts for seat belts. Just punch two small holes at each and squirted PB Blaster till it oozes thru to the floor. This is right above the bolt ends. Complete saturation for these four bolts

    Just bought a new Cub cadet, don't even have 30 hours on it and left back tire went flat. Thanks for the advice. I'm putting tubes in both the back ones. Usually, it is the back ones. Will do the fronts if I have trouble with them. Got to get it back on the grass. I have a big facility to maintain. Just went flat yesterday, reinflated and minutes later air started coming out. My day at that point was shot. Glad I got some inside maintenance done first. So, the day wasn't a total loss. Thanks again.

    Going through this right now for the second time. Costco just cross-threaded my stud when they put my new tires on. Any shop in town is going to cost me $350 to $450. I tried to do it myself the first time and got so frustrated and ended up having to take it to the shop anyways after I damaged my hub. What is expensive headache.

    Hey man how much did the engine run you and do you know what kind of internal parts they use? I've got a 08 F150 5.4 4x4 with 275,000 on it and I'm gonna need to replace the engine or get a new truck sooner than later I believe. Thanks

    All in with their top shelf 7yr unlimited mile warranty and their install kit I was right at $6k including shipping. They use all upgraded parts to correct the poor oiling issues of the original engine. They are super low pressure so just give them a call and they will gladly explain it all.

    Think of this as the opposite of an actual torque wrench. NEVER USE TO REFASTEN LUG NUTS. As you would NEVER use a torque wrench as a breaker bar. In other words, this is a loosening tool ONLY.

    If you turn the hub to the left, hammer down a tiny small part of the side of hub, it hammers right out. Cut a small 1/8” cut on the head of the stud and it pops right in. Takes 5 minutes and you don’t have to take any of it apart.

    To hell with the hand crank can you attach an impact driver to it ? That way even your ridiculously cheap low power cordless impacts could remove a lug or even an impact driver cause Milwaukee m18 gen3 will take lugs off most passenger cars on its own so long as you have a good quality adaptor bit.
