How To Change A Tire The Easy Way! Lug Nut Torque Multiplier - # #wheels #tires #mechanic

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

in this video I review the Stark Lug Nut Torque Multiplier to see if it really works as advertised.
The brand that I reviewed was sold under the brand name "Stark" but this same unit is available by several different names. All of them appear identical. Here is the link for one that is slightly cheaper than what I purchased mine for.

Good and honest review after a hands on test. This is precisely what I needed. There are many reviews which are worthless of people who pick up the specs on the Internet and read it to you and show pretty pictures from the Internet. You are the real deal my friend thank you

I'm with the other commenter. I'm in my early 50s and have never saw anything like this. Would be great for female drivers or older folks.👍🙏

This does work!!! I have one for my sons car. Didn’t work for my car because my tires have special lug nuts on them.

I am inclined to think that this was originally German technology that was adapted to the DIY market, has been rebadged by the big companies like AME, for those of you who insist on using tons of antisize, you might want to watch a video by ALKITRONIC that illustrate the affects of lube and rust on torque, you will have to find your "degree of angle "by using the specific torque on clean dry threads first, with a pre torque, (about 20%)

Why do Americans say changing a tire (Tyre, English) when as in this case they are changing a wheel. Changing a tire is when you actually change the Tyre.

To hell with the hand crank can you attach an impact driver to it ? That way even your ridiculously cheap low power cordless impacts could remove a lug or even an impact driver cause Milwaukee m18 gen3 will take lugs off most passenger cars on its own so long as you have a good quality adaptor bit.

Quick question! After you have taken out four lug nuts and trying to take out the fifth and last one. Where do you stick the supporting arm?

On one of the studs. You will have to secure it a bit with one hand.

Also, you can just use this tool to break all of the lug nuts loose, but leave them in place and then remove them by hand after they are all loosened.

@@DailyBrewGarage I don't think that is a good idea because in that scenario the arm is pushing against the threated area of that stud.

Think of this as the opposite of an actual torque wrench. NEVER USE TO REFASTEN LUG NUTS. As you would NEVER use a torque wrench as a breaker bar. In other words, this is a loosening tool ONLY.

The limit will be a nominal physical limit of the parts. Over that 255 you're potentially bending the handle or stripping the gearset etc. You can physically put in as much force as you want - just that the fancy tool will let go at some point
