  The audacity of the doctor and the nurse smiling and laughing at her. They gave her the gas and let her get to a phone before it's affect was over. They had plenty of time to stop her but they let her do it, just stand and watch. Unbelieveble.

  This scene always made me uncomfortable as a kid. The dark room, the dentists unnecessarily deep voice, the red tint on the screen, everyone enjoying a 9 year old confess her love in a dentist's office, how Helga was talking with a dam drill in her mouth

  I was under laughing gas four times this year to while having a root canal treatment cavities refilled and my wisdom teeth out. I had felt that way since I was a kid. I knew what was going on around me but for once I didn’t care. I talked mostly about my late Dad and how much I wanted him with me in person. The thing is the company he used to run was upstairs in the exact same building

  To me I felt like if the dentist had a little evil intention with making her use laughing gas because did you guys noticed he ask her would you like to use laughing gas he ask that like meaning it wasn't necessary to be applied I guess he probably wanted to see the effect of laughing gas on someone and it got to Helga another thing you people notice the brown skin lady with the little girl the priceless look she gave Helga while she was confessing all these things on the phone and also dentist assistant blasting out and again the Dr was trying hard not to laugh but I also felt in the doctor look like wanting to get Helga out for something as she looks back at the people laughing before screaming her lungs

  That makes sense to me I always thought that everyone in Arnold's hometown could be jerks it's no wonder Helga felt she had to hide her true feelings. they all just immediately smiled when helga was on the gas what do you said makes sense I sometimes assumed that maybe this kind of thing happened at the dentist all the time helga should sue the dentist though people who work in places like dentist and doctors should be kind and caring not malicious

  @@princesspam37 I think it serves brainy right for stalking her which is a form of sexual harassment but no that's not brainy's father I've seen his parents during the parents day episode and that's not him but those people should be ashamed of themselves making fun of a little girl with self esteem problems I've said it before and I'll say it again it's no wonder Helga feels she has to hide her secret it seems that all the adults and kids in the city Arnold lives in can be jerks and bullies even so called nice guy Arnold can be teasing sometimes like when he read the little pink book and made fun of how cheesy it was along with his friends he didn't know what belonged to he'll get at the time but he basically confirmed helga's fears he might reject her I hope those people feel a lot of pain when it's their turn to get their teeth checked
