Unable to find license number and product number.
Your license number should be emailed to you when you purchase a subscription. You can also find it in your Intuit account (camps.intuit.com) or your previous version by pressing F2 on your keyboard while in your old QuickBooks. why select pay item is not coming up on my weekly timesheet?
You may need to select the employee at the top before the Select Pay Item field pops up. What account type does Owners Investment come under? I have setup an account for Directors Loan as Current Liabilities and Loan Payable. Could I record this expense under that?
Hi Usman. The Owner's Investment or Owner's Equity would be an Equity account. Equity accounts represent the assets you have invested in your business. If you are a contractor and have been paying people as 1099. Do not go to payroll unless you really need it. Don’t let them sell you on the discount to try it. You cannot go back to contractor deposits from payroll.
I'm just curious to know what information is NOT imported (like payment settings are NOT applied when importing invoices). Anyone who uses QBO regularly knows the program is overflowing with bugs like this that Intuit has no intention of fixing.
Hey there! When importing invoices, you'll want to ensure you have columns for Invoice number, Customer, Invoice date, Due date, and Item amount. @@quickbooks I'm very aware of how to import invoices. You seem very unaware that client-level payment defaults are NOT applied to invoices created by importing data from a worksheet. For your information, every imported invoice must be manually updated after importng to apply the payment options. It's a massive failure of the QBO software that's been repeatedly brought to Intuit's attention and there's seemingly no urgency to fix it. It's also unsurprising that the monitors of this KZread account don't know the failures of their own software and need actual real time users to inform them. Now...how about a fix for this significant problem?

Hi Jerie, This feature was implemented in May of this year. You'll need to have Online Payment options enabled for your customers and have a Simple Start, Essential, or Plus Plan. You can also set up auto reminders if this isn't the case. I have several "deleted" transactions that need to be fixed, but I don't seem to have the column that allows me to change the status to C, R, etc. I am using QBO and am in Accountant view. Is there a way around that step if I don't have the option to reconcile in that way?
Typically, you wouldn't reconcile a transaction that has been deleted. If you need to re-add the transaction and then reconcile, you may be able to gather the transaction details from the Audit Log as shown here (tinyurl.com/mpuzunra). We also recommend contacting an accounting professional for assistance with this.
@@quickbooks That link does not work (404). I am not attempting to reconcile the deleted entry itself. I'm working through the steps on the 4th example (a deleted expense showing up in the reconciliation discrepancy register). Per the process described in this video, I need to have access to the status column mentioned in my original comment that switches between C & R. Is there a workaround for that part of the process if I don't have that column? I've engaged my accountant, but he seems too busy to assist on the QBO end. And in reality, I'm not looking for accounting advice at all, I'm looking for QuickBooks software support. I know why the issue has occurred and what my accounting records should show, I just don't know what actions to take within QBO to make it right again. Please help :)

Worst app ever existed
Just wanted to comment again for like the 18th time, QuickBooks is horrible. Always moving things around unnecessarily and making it to where you get charged without knowing. The level of hidden/reoccurring fees is ridiculous. Once again I'm online with customer support while WE try to figure out another issue that QuickBooks made.
I am quickbooks proadvisor based in UAE. I need to onboard client. Here Quickbooks website shows $18 for 'simple start' package rather than $30. However, on my portal it is showing price of $30, what's happening here?
how do i categorize or add transfers FROM SQUARE. We take payments on square. At the end of the day we transfer the amount to our business checking account. The transfer shows up in our business checking statements. How is this transfer added or categorized?
That's a great question. Your Square transactions can be added, matched, and categorized just like you would with your regular bank transactions. If you have a transfer in your checking account, it will match what you already have downloaded and will show Matched like in the video. I hope this helps. -Karey
This DOES NOT work! With an Advanced QBO or QBOA account and go to Settings and Tools and clicking on Spreadsheet sync, the only option is to sync with Excel. Please either provide proper instructions on how to connect to Google Sheets or provide us an updated ETA on when this will be available!

How do I pay on Intuit as a customer. There’s literally a button that says click here if you don’t know how to pay, and when you click button it offers no advice, just simply says: “Still need help?” “You can contact the company directly at their email” For 2 weeks we’ve been trying to pay the guy that came to do work at our house. Why make it so difficult for your customers to get paid???

QuickBooks already has a Statement of Cashflow located in your reports. The link to this video in Quickbooks says "Import consolidated and subdivided budgets," but the option to create subdivided budgets is still not there. Importing budgets is useless to me unless I can import budgets by class or by customer.

great video, thank you! Question: How do we handle sales tax? In Ontario, we have hst. So, for the expense, I clicked on "Amounts are inclusive of tax", and I entered the total price in the expense line, and selected hst as the tax. In the shareholder's line, I entered the full amount, but left the tax as zero rated. Is that correct?

How can see the product images of each item on the invoice? You can add product images in inventory why are images not showing on the invoice. Customers want to see images the products they are buying this is 2024 not 1964
I can certainly see how much of a difference it would make for companies like yours if you could add photos to invoices. However, at this time, it's a product limitation. Can you only access the register from Chart of Accounts? Is there a way to organize register so most current transaction, deposits and checks, are at the top?
Hi Cathy, you can view the Register from the Dashboard by clicking Go To Registers under the Bank Accounts tile. You can resort the Register by clicking Date at the top of the column. I hope this helps. -Karey
QBO is the worst. QBD was FABULOUS! I have spent countless hours trying to get an invoice template to look like a professional invoice. Not going to happen.
