  What really makes me love AFI is the journey.. We all started off as hungry kids raging as loud as possible and now as middle age descends into the last half we slow down reflect and become full rounded humans. People complain about what AFI are now I love there music now as much as I did in 1998.. Its about the journey not the start or the end. But the time between.

  I was there and all I remember is the energy these guys had was off the charts and they were loud as hell my ears buzzed for like 3 days afterwards, what a time to be young so glad I got to see them a few times in that era before they turned into whatever they are now.

  Why are all the comments saying how amazing Davey sounds? He's barely hitting the notes a lot of the time lol. His voice is not at all what it used to be and the band looks like they are just going through the motions, although thats probably cause the crowd barely cares.
