I seen your tip on stopping my doors from swinging open or close.awesome tip,Thank You, Jeff
*120 volts
Nice advice. I just moved from Utah to Missouri. If I am not mistaken the mountains in the background look like Mt. Ogden. You must be in the Layton area. I lived in Clinton. thx
Do dogs ever recover holes?
Doors swing on their own when they’re not plumb. What you’re doing is increasing the friction of the hinge
This was good and easy to follow. Bro, you should do more tutorials
Can we take out any one pin or the top one only?
Does this fix the problem when our ring doorbell pro says “offline”? We had it for over a year and had no problems until a few days ago. Says the power is level 3, assuming that’s not good/ it’s not receiving much power.
Also worth mentioning is you can bend the top or bottom hing linkages the pin goes into a little bit. This way you have no bent pin. Just tap the linkage with a mallet to create a little tension on one point of the hinge which will cause the pin to push against the links.
It worked! :))))
Love the use of a Craftsman screwdriver 😊
DO NOT buy these ever. So many false alarms. So many have been replaced under warranty and even those give false alarms. If you like being woken up at 3am, or having your smoke alarm go off while out of town and can’t verify it, then these are for you.
I'm late but on time for your easy way to save my last nerve 😂🤭...thank you so much ❤
You just saved my 4 yr old from getting his head bumped by the door handle every time he comes into my office. THUMBS UP!
Thank you!
Attempt #1: I only bent the hinge pin a little, but it didn't bind enough to stop the door from swinging. Attempt #2: I bent it about the amount shown in this video and it worked. Total time: maybe 6 minutes. Yes, you have to be careful not to bang up the door trim. Also, pounding the pin out from the bottom is the way to go. Thanks for you video!
I am a 65 year old women and one of my doors kept closing. After watching this video I gave it a try and it worked with just one hinge. Thank you so much!
what to do if you have bearing hinges??
Prox was here
Big help! Thank you
Great advice, thank you
Proud owner of the same model but in black. I absolutely love it!
Oh, man. You've saved my sanity :) thank you
Awesome thanks for showing a cargo box!
Thank you! Great video
Hi there. Great video! Now that Noxon 7 has been discontinued, do you have a recommendation for a different product?
Without the transformer, would the existing wires still work with the doorbell? I don’t have an existing chime, so will use a Ring door chime.
😅 I am too weak. It will not bend
i have them but i really wish they were zigbee and hardwired with temp and humidity
Good stuff 👏
How long will it take to install if you're all by your lonely self
It work an I couldn’t believe it lol 😂
Can I use my 19V notebook charger to install the doorbell?
I was trying all sorts of contraptions. Thank you so much.
Thank you !
You, sir, are a genius. I have asked my maintenance staff to fix this multiple times and each time they say it's fixed but 2 the doors still swing open, slamming into the wall or another door behind it. I so appreciate you, thank you!
Worked like a charm. Thank you.
Worked like a charm, thank you so much!
What if your lamnets are making a chattering noise?
Thank you SO MUCH😫
The same happened to our granite & it was very similar granite. ( installed by an Home depot installer which really didn’t do a very good job because there a a few other places ithe seams are unglued) My question is do you put a filler on top of the glued granite seam afterwards?
10/10. Thanks!
Well done video - one of the better videos on KZread for this issue.
I couldn’t see it clearly. But the Green wire is Ground; Black is the Hot Wire and White is Neutral. Is that the correct connection? Thanks for making this YT video.
I cannot get the nail to bend even slightly with a hammer - helppppp
Great informative video. Can you do video on why the will randomly chime continuously without no touch the door bell and how to fix that issue?
Perfect, worked a treat, and just took 5 minutes, thanks!

Thanks for the easy instructions on how to upgrade my doorbell transformer.
